Grandpa's Ice Cream and Pies

Lots of yummy flavors and great prices. People were very friendly. We didn’t try the pies but they looked really yummy. Waffle cones were tasty. There are spots to eat inside or outside in the shade.

If perfectly creamy homemade ice cream is on your agenda at the Lake of the Ozarks near Bagnell Dam, make sure you stop in at Grandpa’s. If the line is outside the door, be sure you take a couple of minutes to look at it all of the flavors in the cases before you order. Anyone behind the counter will scoop for you. AND a serving is 2 scoops, so you can get two of the same or two different ones for about $4!
Grandma was at the register and I asked her about her art. She created the little photo stand outside and all of the ice cream murals around the place. We’ll be back!

Great Shop! I always enjoyed coming to get their cookies, pies, and ice cream. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Without any doubt I recommend Grandpa’s Ice Cream and Pies!

We tried this little shop out for the first time earlier today and liked it so much we came back tonight for round 2. Lovely people and the ice cream is delicious! They also have shaved ice and fresh lemonade, which our friends tried and said was really good as well! We will definitely be returning.

My second time coming. What's not to like? It's ice cream and they have many flavors you are bound to like one of them. They have pie and soda here also among other things. There are places to sit outside while you enjoy your day. I got the Blueberry and Turtle in a cup. I like this place and highly recommend.

Large variety of ice cream, decently good prices, and friendly staff. A fun place to stop when on the strip by Bagnell Dam!

The young ladies working there were very sweet and accommodating for our family of 6 that took a few minutes to decide. The ice cream is also amazing, I got moose tracks (my favorite!) And it was so fresh and smooth!

We brought our kids there for a cup and Cone. Love the small town ice cream shop vibe. The staff was very friendly and place smells clean.

Sweetest staff ever💚 Cozy atmosphere and absolutely phenomenal ice-cream. Didn’t have the pies or the chocolate covered bananas but they looked absolutely phenomenal. Brownie Delight was the best thing ever!!!

My entire family has been going to Grandpa's for so many years.
It is one of the things that my parents, my sister's and their kids, and grandkids, and my kids all look forward to every year and always talk about.

Good ice cream and friendly staff. Lots of other options other than just regular ice cream (we got fresh squeezed lemonade and chocolate covered banana). Wife didn't like the Trump store next door but other than that an enjoyable experience.

Grandma is so nice, and so is Grandma! There ice cream is delicious, and their lemonade is to die for! If you're in town and you hadn't tried Grandpa's Ice Cream, you need to!

Wow this place was the best part of our day trip! Freshly made waffle cones, huge selection of ice cream, milkshakes, snow cones, cookies, and pies! Delicious and a great price!

Coming here is like returning to a piece of America that was frozen in time and never changed. "Grandpa" serves up delicious ice cream and pies and has some neat shirts for sale as well. The store is easy to miss if you're just cruising around on The Strip, it's on a parking lot behind a couple small buildings, but it's well worth a visit for the throwback feel that reminds you of the good ol' days with its sweets and atmosphere.

Great selection of ice cream and reasonably priced. I prefer this over Malted Monkey. Don't be scared off by the crazy Trump store next door.
