Took the speedboat to Backwater Jack’s today. Captain Jim was amazing. The ride was so much fun! The boat is clean, the ride was smooth and the music was great! 10/10 recommend booking this ride!

Playin Hooky Water Taxi has been a must for several years now for our family vacation. Captain Jim always takes care of us. He makes sure that during our family cruise we have fun and our bars stops are worth it. I highly recommend this company.

Absolute blast! We took the water taxi to Tap-N-Grill and then the next day went on the speed boat tour. Jim and Minnie are super nice and were so easy to work with for pickups and what not. Highly recommend!!! We will definitely be back again next year :)

Highly recommend! We were heading to the boat and there was an accident on MO 5 and traffic was held up. There was no way to get by it. They were amazing and rerouted the stops backwards for us. My mind is blown. We rally appreciate that!!! The ride and stops were perfect as well!

We booked the boat trip with their new 40 person jetboat from Lazy Gators to Blackwater Jack's and the trip and boat was amazing. We all had a blast only downfall was Blackwater Jack's were only letting people over 21 come to the pool so our 3 kids weren't able to go swimming so had to sit in the restaurant until we had to go back. Not really Playin Hookys fault more on Blackwater Jack's. On the way back from Blackwater Jack's had a helicopter filming us in the boat not sure who they were with but made it a pleasant surprise

Jim can drive a boat like a pro and was very helpful by picking us up straight from the Air BnB! Couldn’t recommend this service enough!

Jim was the absolute best! He picked us up near our hotel for convenience and small fee. Very personable. Boat was clean, we had a great time and will be back!

Just got off the Playin’ Hooky yellow offshore boat 🚤 💦 from a private charter at the 8MM to Blackwater Jacks, and back. Super fun time. Jim & Mini, the owners are so pleasant, and the ride was smooth on this windy choppy day. The music was fun and I felt like we arrived in style. This is my 4th time on this boat and it never disappoints.

We last minute decided on a taxi boat ride & we got the last spot the lady was so professional & nice about the booking! Quick ride and we didn’t have to wait for pick up! After being in a swim up pool for the afternoon and walking down that is so nice not having to wait for your ride! Phenomenal captain as well! Five stars!

Our group of 25 had the best time riding the Playin Hooky boat to Backwater Jacks for an afternoon celebration of NFT day! Jim is an excellent captain and his selection of music for the ride was an excellent choice.

Rode the speedboat to Backwater Jacks yesterday with a group of friends. The ride was surprisingly smooth for a windy day. The music was great and we loved the owners, Jim and Mini! Look forward to doing it again.

My experience on the cruise was truly memorable and enjoyable. The crew was friendly and attentive. The views were spectacular, and I loved being able to explore the local sights at each port of call. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a unique and intimate cruising experience.

Went on both the fun cruise and the speedboat. Fun cruise is very party party. Loud dance music and lots of bars that sometimes won’t let you order food. The speedboat is the star of the show!! Enjoyed it much more than the fun cruise. I guess it all depends on what you like. Would highly recommend! So fun!

Best way to see the Lake if your looking to hit as many Bar/restaurants as possible in a day. Fun and entertaining. Capt. Jim’s great and goes out of his way to make sure everyone onboard has the best experience possible. I can understand why this company is extremely popular with Bachelor and Bachelorette party’s.
