Rock Island Cafe

A nice Cafe, local homey atmosphere, with friendly servers, quick service, and delicious food. We went for breakfast but I'm looking forward to going back and trying their burgers and tenderloins. I got the Breakfast #1 that has 2 eggs, steak, hashbrowns, and toast. I asked to have sausage gravy added to the hashbrowns. It was perfect. My wife got eggs, bacon, and toast. There was so much toast you couldn't see the bacon underneath. They use real butter on the toast too. UPDATE: Still great food, great price, and great service.

We go to this restaurant about once a week. Very good service. These servers know how to work. You never see them stand around and not have any thing to do. They are always busy and the food is delivered very timely. We love the daily special with such good prices. The food is very tasty . I love love the tenderloins as they are meaty and large. Thank you for opening the Rock Island Cafe for the community

This is currently the lone restaurant choice in Leeton, so we are fortunate the Rock Island Cafe is an excellent one. Large portions of well made food are served here, with daily specials.

The staff are super friendly, checking on you just the right amount. The restaurant can get quite busy, but if you can flex your time just a little, it's not too hard to miss the typical rushes.

The sweet tea is really good and don't forget to take some to go... especially when warmer weather returns.

Love this small town cafe! My wife and I call in for take out food here often. The tenderloin is very good! Everything I've eaten from here is delicious and love the atmosphere! Will be going back many more times!

Words cannot express our gratitude for owner Becky and her soul-nourishing Rock Island Cafe. Last Sunday afternoon we were on our bicycles, slogging through freezing rain and bone-chilling cold on the Rock Island Spur of the Katy Trail. (We did not intend to start our annual bike trip in such horrible weather, but so it was.)

Becky welcomed our sodden and exhausted group with open arms, a hot fire, and delicious food. She asked where we were staying that evening. She knew the woman hosting us in the neighboring town of Windsor and reached out to her, asking that she confirm our safe arrival.

With that kind of love in action, there is hope for this world. Thank you, Becky ~ and all at Rock Island Cafe!

First time in here, and won't be the last! Good prices, great food, large portions and a relaxing place not too busy to grab breakfast.

The wait staff is excellent. The food is wonderful . The owners Becky and Steve are

A great destination for lunch, weather on bicycles or motorcycles. Clean friendly, and great food while riding the great gravel roads of Missouri

This is everything I love about a small-town diner. Local people, real down-home food, nothing fancy. And cheesecake... you know, the kind that's like thick whipped cream, slathered with strawberries.

Excellent! There were only two pieces of TX Sheetcake left, so I ate mine as an appetizer. Since I visited on a Friday during lent and they offered Catfish I figured this Catholic should give the fish a try, it was very good, my side of tator tots were really good as well and came in an abundance. Washed it down with a good sweet tea.

Definitely the place to go for lunch, surrounded by small town nice folks.
Service was excellent, I'll probably eat here next Wednesday since I'll be at the HS for business which is just across the street.
