Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I LOVE shopping here. The employees are very courteous, friendly to helpful. They have a great selection of items.

I'm just gonna say...its better to shop local.
And besides that I like the perks rewards.

I just stopped in for the Thursday deals and I ended up getting $1.35 off a gallon of gas!

Great gas station. It has diesel and E85 fuel, so it can accommodate any vehicle. It is big, clean, and we'll lit. My wife said the restrooms were clean, which is a huge plus. Stopped there twice and it is nice it is next to the grocery store.

Had a tenderloin sandwich from the Deli. It was almost as large as the dinner plate it was served on. Large enough for two people. Truly delicious. Well worth the money. Staff was friendly and helpful in our needs.

Very friendly. Fast and efficient. Wasn't too crowded and I was able to find everything I needed then an orderly fashion. No crowds so small line waited very little time to check out. Easy access parking lot handicap availability easy access location. Thank you.

Had pretty much everything we wanted or needed and then some. Employees were helpful and cheerful. They were really busy as it was just before the New Year holiday, a pay day and a snow storm was starting. Yet they got all of us taken care of in a timely manner.

I had a good experience. They didn't have any fresh leafy greens, however, they did have baby spinach and bags of lettuce. There is a horrible sound. I asked about it, was told it was a freezer and they ( the repart person ) don't know why. So....it you don't mind your grocery making horrible sound....
The cashier was friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately, my closest HyVee is 45 minutes away. If I had one closer I'd do all my grocery shopping there.

Customer service was perfect

We stopped in to look around and use the restroom. On the way out, I noticed a cart with marked down cookies at $3.99. When I checked out, they were $2.88. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of choices at HyVee.

Always friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of items and the best place to get fresh seafood ( in the middle of the country). Prices are competitive and I will always support local grocery over Walmart even if it costs me a bit extra.

Went to Hyvee in Chillicothe MO today at a sper of the moment to get a couple of things and decided to get stocked up on meat. As I approached the counter, I apologetically ask the employee that was working (Dana) for 20 pounds of 85% ground beef in 1 pound packages and was immediately told that I should’ve called in ahead to order so what I wanted would have been ready. I understood this and agreed with it, however when I attempted to explain that it was a last minute decision it was again immediately followed up with “well you do know how to use a phone right” and a negative attitude. Then i was told that it would take a while and that I should go do other shopping. I then remained quiet and stated that I would be back. I felt a complete and utter lack of respect and as a previous employee of a business that I have worked in customer service at the same time as working in a meat department I understand that everyone has an off day but still. This was an absolutely disgusting display of customer service and an even worse display of what form of representation this HYVEE has. The only reason why I am leaving a 5 star review is because of the customer service that I received from Travis ( Travis P.) and Clint ( The Clint) when i returned to the counter to pickup my product and order more meat products. They greeted me with a smile and were very kind and respectful. They engaged in friendly conversation and made me feel like I was not causing a problem by ordering in person. I appreciate there level of professionalism and will be back to order once again just because of them.
