January-Wabash Park

Love this park. Lots of area to walk around the pond. There’s lots of benches. Public bathrooms, fishing, and picnics.

One of my favorite spots, particularly during summer or fall, is this place. The lake is a good size, offering multiple fishing spots or a chance to relax under a tree after a stroll on the trail. The playground equipment makes it ideal for families, and it's free! They do have an Aquatic Center, which has a fee, but you can always check their website for more information. It's an excellent spot to spend some time during the warmer months with its beautiful views and tranquil atmosphere.

This is such a unique and fun playground for kids. It’s big and bright, and sits next to a nice fishing spot. I liked that there was such a variety of things to enjoy on the playground (music, puzzles, climbing, swings) and there is also a smaller side of playground equipment for the younger ones. Ground is wood chips, plenty of benches for parents to supervise. My almost five year old had a blast. She was disappointed she didn’t get to try the swings, there are very few and there was a decent size crowd, but still think it’s a great place and we will be going back many times this summer.

Great looking place on the outside. I saw a huge pond for fishing and I’m sure a great spot to feed ducks. Off on the side is a great size playground. Then I see they have a water park in the area. I came for the Free Play time and you will need to look into dates and times because I’m not sure if it’s everyday or every Sunday or what. My 10yr old enjoyed it but my opinion is it’s more for babies upto 7, but every kid has their own favorite things to play with. Check it out.

Love love reminds me of parks in Vegas beautiful lake area. My kids had an amazing time. The best park by far I have been to so far in saint Louis. Will be visiting the pool area as soon as they open.

We had a fun experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of life guards on duty. The crowd was pleasant. Will be back

A great price for a nice little water park. I grew up going to a January Wabash Park, Back when they had a high diving board that was so high up. I also went to Ferguson Middle School and in the first month we would come back to school. We actually had gym class in the swimming pool there. so I feel a kinship towards it and I must say I was very happy with the way the waterpark was being run and how great and nice the staff was with my son. He loves it. We all had a great time. And also they had lots of lifeguards on at all times which made me feel so much safer.

I went to January - Wabash Park for the first time on Chinese Lunar New Year's Day, hoping for good luck and fishing trout for the first time in this park. I'm glad to see that some anglers are friendly and willing to inform me where the best fishing spots are. I'll bring some pals and return here shortly. Thank you to the park employees for maintaining the place so clean and serene. I was able to take photos and videos, and I create a YouTube video on my creator channel to show potential visitors and anglers.
I went to this park again on March 15 with 2 friends, a beautiful sunny day, very peaceful and clean. We didn't catch much fish, yet we still enjoyed visiting this park. Walking the trail around the lake under sun and enjoying the vies of park is a treat.

My grandson loved the playground. I had a hard time getting him to leave when his sister's swim practices were over. There's a lot of fun activities to play on.

I'm 35 years old and I've never seen anything like its definitely a must see. Was on a trip from Indiana to Kansas and back.. was driving by and had to stop and even made it a point to stop on the way back through my 3 boys loved it...

On his first time fishing, my grandson caught 3 fish..

I took my 12mo daughter to the Simple Positive Play time on a Thursday morning and we both enjoyed our time. There were five other kids, ranging in age from 11mo to 6yo. There was a reading area, a plant tower, lots of different types of toys, an art room for older kids, and nice moms. Any toys that a kid put in their mouth was put in a basket and sanitized before going back into the toy area. A true hidden gem that I'm so grateful for.

Epic playground. Never any kids sadly, probably because of the location and how dangerous it is

Went for a walk around the pond while my husband fished. Playground is new, looks nice. Pond is cleaner than last time I was here.

The place is generally packed there is people all around either fishing onto the playgrounds or at the picnic tables or just out to walk the trails. If you are a Walker the two trails will give you a work out. If you don't want to be around a lot of folks it may not be the place for you

I Have always Loved This park we had my I grandsons graduation celebration there at 1 Of the pavilions Absolutely beautiful. Not to mention lots of fun😁

I love this park. Its great to go and fish, during the summer they have a water park. And they also have a beautiful track around the pond if you're looking for some exercise. Also there's a very nice remodeled playground too. My children love it.
