Skivers Forklifts

Called the owner in the morning about a forklift he had listed and by afternoon I had my forklift picked up great guy to work with.

I have used Skivers for years,, and bought many forklifts. They do the best work and a very fare price. they are always up front, and complete there work without problems. Everyone should use Skivers

Excellent customer service as the owner was very hands on to ensure the forklift I rented was very capable for the work loads I needed to move and environment I was working in. The staff also was very helpful with loading and unloading forklift on my trailer. Everybody there was extremely courteous and went above and beyond to ensure I received "World Class Service".

Chris had one of his guys come out and do a brake job on my forklift. They never worked well at all but the mechanic said they’ll be warranty so when I called him back up he sent his brother out his brother even said yes they bypass the brake booster, and they were done incorrectly, so when I called Chris to see what he was going to do about it he said my 90 day warranty was up. I didn’t think the warranty mattered if you did the job wrong in the first place but that’s how they do business do not recommend them at all. Then he told me to lose his number, very unprofessional I know in my line of work if you do something wrong, you’d redo it and make it right and this break job is over $3000

I have never left a review before for any business. My dealings with this company where so bad that has now changed. Unprofessional, dishonest and poor quality product is the description I would give to this business. I was blown away by how poorly the owner of this company treated us. What we bought from them is now being fixed by another company. It was sold to us as working but it was not. I for one would not even let my worst enemy do business with this company. Things go wrong and you can tell a good business from a bad business based on how they respond. In my opinion this company is the very worst.

We purchased a used, "re-conditioned" from Chris Skivers. In the short time we have had it, starting just a few days past its 30 day warranty, we have had multiple issues. That may be just the luck of buying used equipment.
What is not forgivable, is the poor service we have received. Chris is a very nice guy, but he has not once shown up when he said he would and never calls. We always have to call him and he always has an excuse. More than once I have had to call him multiple times to get him out to repair our often unusable forklift.
At this point I am considering cutting my losses and buying a forklift elsewhere. I would never buy another from Chris, at any price.
Service matters.
