It's a really nice Conservation area right off of interstate 44. 4k plus acres and several ponds to fish in. Great hunting as well. I've been hunting here for years and I never get tired of coming here.

We stayed two nights in a 40' motorhome to avoid high winds on our way west. Nice park, 50 amp and water hook up about 20' behind the RV spot, and trash dumpster located centrally between sites. It was quiet and very clean. Also, absolutely gorgeous sunsets! What a great park.

Great day for a walk. A lot of work getting done along fence lines and such. What a wonderful conservation project. No rabbits for us this time but it was the winds not the habitat. Signs of deer and cats everywhere. I really enjoyed my morning.

5,000 Acres 40 miles from Springfield set aside for wildlife!

Don't go during hunting season unless you're a hunter.
Some decent Bass Fishing too.

Love this place for fishing anyway, havent done much else...I seem to have pretty good luck with an orange rooster tail about all year round for largemouth, never really fished for anything else

This is a great place to take the whole family, if you have kids that have a lot of energy take them here, they will sleep like baby's when they get home. Lots to see and hike the trails
