Petro Travel Center

I always enjoy stopping at the Petro in Kingdom City Missouri. They have a huge parking lot that usually does not fill up till late. Their Iron Skillet is open form 6am to 10pm. I had a Ribeye steak that was a little overcooked on the outside but was still good. My server Michelle did a great job taking care of me. Checked on me several times throughout the Meal. I reserved a shower on the app about 4:30am and they had some available. The shower was clean, the water was hot and had plenty of pressure. Overall a great place to take a 10 hour break.

I have been stopping here for 30+ yrs. This is THE place I try to get to when traveling through Missouri. The lot is huge, they have good hot food at the fuel desk when you have to keep rolling, the buffet at the main building will have specials that change - try to catch the Friday night buffet! Prime rib and Seafood!! For those of us with furry babies..there is a huge field at the opposite end of the truck stop that is clean wonderful thick grass where they can play. Love this place!

Had a trailer brake light out and had went to two other places telling us it would be tomorrow before they could get to us. We arrived at petro and was in and out in less than a hour and that included us waiting on the tech to finish with another truck. Both guys were amazing. So nice, best customer service we have ever had!! Thank you so much

Has a Wendy's dairy Queen and an iron skillet plenty of truck parking and auto parking. Huge c-store with tons of gifts for everyone. Up stairs and down stairs restrooms and showers also laundry and barber. Lots of grass for pets and lots of other food choices within walking distance.

Great place to park your truck for the night. Clean showers, restroom, laundry. The restaurant opens at 6:00 am. They were understaffed last night with a packed dining area. The 2 waitresses still got to everyones table. Wait was long with just one cook. But unfortunately that's the times we presently live in.

Clean rest rooms. Food is being made fresh and is delicious. The coffee was hot. The staff very nice people. We thank you! We are OTR truck driver and will definitely stop again.

EVERY time I eat here, it's 5 stars.

Ok I love giving out good reviews.
Here I thought something super negative about this location's service staff in the shop after truck was in the shop.
The manager Alissa, (hope I'm spelling that right) was really great and active for investigating my issues there.
Next day I show up and shop staff even went further to allow my inquiries to be heard and addressed.
Thanks to all staff at this location.

Had a great breakfast, a clean hot shower. Washed my clothes. Free parking. Friendly staff. A really good experience for my 34 hr break.

There's 2 beautiful lady at location that helped me getting a shower since I don't have URTLAONE card yet but I had receipt from previous stop . Also I tried to show that receipt at one TA Foristell,MO but I didn't get shower . Again Thank you very much Ladys

A very nice stop. Quite a few things to look at. The restroom was clean. The employees all seemed friendly. The items in the place were organized neatly on the shelves. The parking area and store was clean. Overall a good stop right off I-70.

I've always liked this place. Lots of parking and usually pretty good food. The shop guys on several occasions have been very helpful and definitely be worthy of recognition. . Thanks for having a heart and treating folks great.

Stop in the middle of a snow storm and they were ready!!! Staff was upbeat and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the salad bar was very fresh and tasty. Great stop for the family if your passing through. Thank you guys.

Clean Truck Stops, with Friendly people the staff is interested in the public, making their visit very pleasant!! So many comforts, The Iron Skillet Restaurant, the laundry room, the TV room and Truckers lounge!! The rest rooms very clean and pretty! The counter people friendly and efficient!! I give this one in Kingdom City Missouri!! A A++++++++++++

So I just bought a breakfast buffet to go. Imagine a U*. I was standing by the * to pay for my food. A guy told me I had to go to the other side to pay for it. As I walked around I said "as if it matters what side I'm on". A waitress said it does matter, on that side I have to walk back and forth. I have no way to prove it but I normally tip around 20%. I understand the waitress now, after walking around I was to tired to tip the $3.00 I would have.

Let's you overnight sleep in RV if you call ahead and ask. Felt very safe and secure. No issues. Short drive to St Louis. Really nice store in the morning too. Dunkin Donuts (sorta)!

Always enjoyed the Kingdom City Petro. Rarely had a problem finding parking, good food, friendly faces, decent restrooms and store, nearby motel, good fuel, and easy in-out from the slots, definitely prefer angled slots to squared ones, especially after a long, hard day on the road.

This was a great truckstop. Shower was small but had ham and beans from fuel island and a polish sausage sandwich. It was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Lots of parking and wonderful field for dogs

This truck stop has one of the better Petro repair shops in the nation, and I've been to just about all of them. The service manager, Craig runs a pretty tight ship, very knowledgeable and a good multitasker. My truck needed a new air compressor, air dryer and a few minor things. Josh the tech made the repairs and got me in and out sooner than I expected.
