Brought me back to when I was a girl. Quaint post office with a fabulous mural. The service was warm and genuine. 😃

Beginning this summer, our mail service on Kim's Lane has become erratic. It comes at different times so you don't know when. This week a package for my neighbor was left on the ground by our shop building, and today a large package for me was jammed into the mailbox and left sticking out about a foot. These packages should have been delivered to the homes. No excuse for this.

The staff could not locate my certified letter I was supposed to pick up. The women working were diligent though and they eventually located it. Apparently the mail carrier had forgotten to put it with the rest of the certified mail awaiting customer pick up.
No judgement. We are all human. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time.

At 9:30 they were still putting up mail in po boxes. I asked to get my mail and was refused. Man stated he was the only one putting up mail and I would have to wait. I reached toward my box and he slammed the door shut on box. He told me it was ill legal for me to reach into my box and get my mail. Told me I would have to use my key. I asked him to turn box around and I would. He refused. I left this guy has a attitude. I believe he is the postmaster.

We got a note on our mailbox while WE WERE HOME saying that they tried contacting us and we weren’t home. We have cameras and he never attempted our door.

I'm fully understanding the low rating. We've had nothing but issues with this location. It seems like the delivery drivers are lazy. Instead of delivering our mail.. they put we picked it up at the post office so they can end their day. The same thing happens when they put in that they weren't physically able to access the mail box or house. The mailbox is right off W and there's no one blocking the house, ever. The ladies at the post office aren't very friendly either. I wish we could choose which post office delivered the mail 😑

They refuse to deliver our packages and put that we want it held. Lies!! They will also say no secure location, when we have plenty of places to leave packages, they simply don't want to deliver and keep getting away with it. I thought it was a federal offense to mess with people's mail?!

The mail service has went down hill terribly, Had a change in mail carriers, there would be several days I had mail to be picked up and watch our street get skipped. I've watched him switch from mail truck to personal vehicle. I've called to complain or ask about mail and every employee I've talked to has been rude. I ask about our mail carrier and was told my official carrier was a woman only because I said a younger guy is delivery our mail. The answer I got about my mail not being picked up was if they don't see it, then they aren't responsible. Hello how can you see it if they don't drive down your street. Also I haven't got an answer about mail carriers and I assume mail carriers make their own schedule? My mail was delivered by 10 everyday never fail now my mail (if I don't get skipped that day) anywhere from 11 up until 5pm. Also I've picked up mail that was dropped in someone's yard and gave it to the bagless mail man (officially) mail woman. Something needs done ! Please !

Beyond frustrating that the drivers lie about you being home or about the driveway being inaccessible because they don’t want to do their jobs. Happens all the time.

The post office people are great, however we never get packages delivered on time. I paid 30 to over night something that took 4 days to get yet was at Eldon destination the next day!! I have complained but like tonight, had something expidited on Thursday last week, but it's now Friday of following week and it was for sons bday!! Not happy!!! I understand they have one of the hardest jobs in the US, much respect except it's now an ongoing thing and we still depend on things being here in time. I'm getting the feeling that they just don't take their job seriously around here, yet if your gonna do a job, go 100%, no matter what, not slack cause your to lazy to get out of your car and deliver a package.

Sent a special remembrance hummingbird magnet to a dear friend. I put a small folded cardboard around it and taped it on the other three sides. I placed the cardboard with the folded side up inside our Christmas photo letter/envelope, paid extra postage, and labeled it "fragile". The envelope arrived with the photi, an empty and one side opened folded cardboard insert, a torn envelope and a MISSING GIFT!!! The magnet was in memory of a recently departed loved one. Shameful, the way this was mishandled. How dreadfully sad that this small token was treated so disrespectfully. Terrible, just terrible. If whoever did this has any decency, they should return the item with a sincere apology.

My mail box is not to short its been there for more than 10 years in the same place this is stupid it meets the height requirement my mails always missing and soaking wet
