Called for take out, delivery time was what you expected, pick up the food and all tasted great! The owner is super friendly and I recommend it!

We were in town for a soccer tournament and wanted to find a local restaurant. Boondocks did not disappoint. Large menu selection to satisfy everyone in our party of 9 ( I recommend calling ahead for seating for a big party). Crab cakes, shrimp tacos, burgers, salads were all delicious. The owner, Bob, was nice and welcoming and shared some places to visit. Definitely recommend visiting this local treat.

We live in the Sweetwater area and wanted to try this restaurant. We ordered take out and got cheesesteaks, bacon cheese fries, a breakfast sandwich on a long roll, and chicken tenders. Everything is fantastic!! Fresh, delicious, affordable and CONSISTENT quality! Definitely our new take out place! Looking forward to trying dinners. (The picture I attached is of the breakfast sandwich, tons of bacon which I love!!)

We stopped in to have dinner after hiking the Batona Trail. We are so glad we did. Wonderful host and wonderful food! Homemade soup was awesome! Also got cookies on the way out which were very tasty! We will be back for sure as it is important to us to frequent establishments like this rather than the large chains! Well done and thanks!

Took the Harley out to get lost in South Jersey and we stumbled across Boondocks so we decided to try it. The crab cakes, ham and bean soup, and chicken fingers were great! Prices were good. Bob and Debbie were very nice and knew a lot about the area. Will definitely stop in again!

Casual fare that's delicious, fun and friendly owner and staff, rapid service and a great time. We stopped in with a party of 7 and we were set up in a cheerful corner right away. (They have take out too.) We were greeted by the owner who appears very involved and attentive with his team. The staff there have a great sense of humor and are so friendly which added to the nice experience we had there.

I had a fresh and crunchy salad with blackened chicken on top. The dressing was fantastic and the chicken was really tender. Make sure to ask them about their crabby balls! No, they won't be offended as these little fried balls of crabmeat heaven are made fresh to order and right there on the menu.

Simple, yummy eats you've gotta try.

Quaint little place with great food. Met a friend for kayaking in the nearby lake and we hit this place for lunch. We both got subs and they were great! The old bay fries were good too! Fair prices and attentive staff! Would definitely recommend!

As a top producing real estate expert for the #GetSeenGetSoldTeam I end up eating on the road a lot. Today I had the privilege of stopping at this joint. At first I was skeptical, thinking pizza in the boondocks at a place called the Boondocks!? Well to my surprise the pizza was fantastic. To add to that the staff was courteous and quick to help me. My food was served fast, hot and delicious!! The atmosphere is very cozy and extremely clean. If your in the area or even close by, do yourself a flavor ( see what I did there) and stop on by you can’t go wrong. You may like the food so much you may want to move there. My friends and I ate lunch here after a nice day at Batsto Village based on the reviews we saw Glad we did! The owner was very friendly and the food was outstanding.

Boondocks is often recognized for its wonderful sandwiches and platters, but I want to thank them for their outstanding catering service. Recently Pinelands Methodist church had two events and requested Bob and Debbie’s service. The food was delivered hot and on time. It was outstanding in appearance and the quality was delicious. This restaurant is a true classic. Thank you again!

Everything I have gotten there has been outstanding. There cheese hoagie especially is one of thee best I've found around the area, handsdown!
And there pricing is very reasonable! Far from light on servings. I will continue to go there.

Stopped by to grab lunch as I was fishing in the area and they did not disappoint! Food was amazing, and reasonably priced. Customer service was great! Food portions were also reasonable. If I'm the area again will definitely be stopping by again! Highly recommend !!

Nice little place. We stopped in here due to a detour after an accident and we were looking for a place to eat. There are a couple of picnic tables outside and plenty of seating inside. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the shrimp platter and it was great, the shrimp were generally sized, great breading and cooked perfect. The fries were amazing, hot and crispy. The wife ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was huge and everything fresh. We found out its made by the wife and you could tell. We ate outside since we had our dogs with us and it was nice and not noisy even though it's right by the main road. The food was great, service great, nice atmosphere, drinks cold and prices reasonable. We will definitely be stopping again.

Just stopped by for an early dinner while on vacation in the area. There were 6 of us and everyone thought their food was delicious. And everyone working their was kind and attentive. Next time we are in the area this place is a definite stop for food.

After 2.5 days and 54 miles through-hiking the Batona trail in subfreezing weather, my hiking buddy took me here. Guy at the counter was super friendly. Got a cheese steak. Man, it was fantastic. I live in PA, so expectaions were not high, but this place hit it out of the park. Was definately a pleasent suprise after such a cold long hike.

Just had a late lunch with my son after exploring Batsto Village today. Blackened Chicken sandwich grilled to perfection, fries fresh, steaming hot & crispy! Chicken Fingers basket equally crispy, fresh & hot right out of the kitchen. Delicious! Definitely recommend! (Inside is spotless as well)
