Sherwood Police Department

I lived in Sherwood for almost 16 years. There is a reason why Sherwood is in the top 10 most safest cities in Arkansas. They have a strong heavy police force that meets the safety needs of it's citizens. These officers as well as the department overall is courteous, kind and passionate about doing great police work. I appreciate them day in and day out and am thankful for their selfless attitudes and dedication.

I was involved in a car wreck back in October 2018. The responding officers were quick and professional and I couldn't be more grateful for them. Not all officers are perfect. I'm not saying every officer with Sherwood is top tier but 99% of them and the department are hardworking dedicated people.

Thank you Sherwood Police Department. You make living in Sherwood safe and comfortable.

The Sherwood Police are the best. Whenever I have called them, they are there before I hang up the phone. They are very kind and understanding , always. I haven't had a lot of contact with them, but the times that I have were very nice and experiences. I had a medical situation and one officer followed me home to nake sure that I made it safely. I think that they are a perfect model for other officers to follow. Thank you Sherwood Police Officers for your service.

I was involved in a traffic accident with another vehicle. Although it was very minor and noone had injuries, I was still a little rattled. The response was immediate (<2 minutes from phoning). They were professional, understanding, and helpful through the entire process. They even helped us as we left the scene (patrol car slowly pulled into lane allowing both vehicles to safely merge from roadside).

The police officers ( names? ) Were very professional, courteous, understanding. During my situation, though I was at fault. Thank you for your service. God bless.

Very gentle when handcuffed will definitely get arrested by them again jk lol but they were very helpful when people were shooting fireworks last 4h of July and got people to stop

I like the friendly staff here, and I like the overall job the Sherwood PD is doing. Sherwood is obviously well policed.

I almost got ran off the highway tonight through Sherwood heading north towards Jacksonville by about 6 sporty race cars. Tell me why a Sherwood police sedan was in the slow lane next to this scene and did nothing about the reckless drivers as they sped off?? If I had panicked and hit my breaks harder or swerved it would’ve been a major accident. If you’re looking to get away with speeding your little sports cars, have at it in Sherwood because apparently the cops do not care.

Professional review here. I am a local insurance agent and one of my clients was involved in an accident in this city. First, the responding officer told her she didn’t need to obtain any information from the other party (at fault). Anyone who knows the first thing about insurance knows this is wrong. Then, I called the station to get a copy of the police report. A week went by and I never got a copy so I called again, this time they sent it but it was the wrong one… worst service ever from a police department that I have ever had. They really need to get it together and this isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had with them.

I called last tuesday for a dog that is currently been without an owner for 10 days now. Initially the sherwood police were contacted and they came to the house adding that yellow slip of paper. I was told to contact Sherwood animal department 26 Dec for a follow-up (which I obviously did) in which I was told they were still doing a wellness check. I then proceeded to call on Saturday 28 Dec and got the same answer after telling them I have been feeding and watering this dog for over a week now. It is now 30 Dec and the dog is still here so I decided to write this review. I understand that with the holidays they are probably busy, but this is pretty silly.
