The Old Mill

What a beautiful experience. Very calm and quiet. Some of the most unique natural bridges and trees there. They have the old mill which still functions, although I don’t believe is used for other than decoration. Nice spot to relax and it has public bathrooms and easy parking.

Old Mill is our favorite place to feed the ducks, turtles and walk around. It’s also a beautiful place to get married, take bridal portraits, maternity photos, and family pictures. I’ve done all of the above. It’s also very gorgeous when it snows. And in the spring Master Gardeners have beautiful flowers and landscaping!

Make this a must-see stop on your next trip to Little Rock. A friend of the family recommended that we visit this quaint spot on our trip to the capitol, and we are so thankful we took her advice! It's the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic lunch, a stroll with a loved one, or to simply sit on one of the many benches and enjoy revelling in the natural surroundings. One young couple we saw had spread out a blanket in the dappled sunshine and were reading a book. We saw five or six families and couples enjoying photo-shoots while we were there, as this is one of the most picturesque parks we've ever visited. Whether you have 10 minutes to spare, or 2 hours, you'll be glad you came to The Old Mill.

Very nice park with a short and easy walking path that has dozens of potential photo opportunities. The building is a recreation of a water wheel powered mill. This particular mill was used in Gone With The Wind. Located in North Little Rock, less than two miles north of I-40 where it intersects with 167 North. It is in a residential area and does have closing times posted. Please drive carefully, as children will be playing in the area. Best visited during the day. Parking is street side and limited. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes to enjoy a leisurely walk.

I can’t express how blissful place is this! We spent a late afternoon there. We absolutely loved it. It was overcrowded when we visited there, so highly recommend visiting this during earlier time of weekdays. The sitting areas and bridges are so awesome and unique. Wish we could spend more time there.

Great place to visit if in the area or need to take an hour to yourself. I love that they also label some of their plants/ herbs. Whole family enjoyed this place. Bathrooms were gross.

Couldn't ask for a more majestic place that's hidden away from the husselofthe city! I absolutely fell in love with the feel of the atmosphere, waterfall, and walk. It reminds me of the Hobbit! It's definitely a family place ! Highly recommend, and I can't say enough how beautiful it was!💕💕💕

Second time visiting the mill my favorite place wasn't anything bloomed yet best time to visit is spring the flowers are beautiful! Take your camera!

Cute area to visit with beautiful views. It's well taken care of, with lovely flowers everywhere, and we enjoyed walking around in the mill house and the several small bridges. I recommend it and would come back again.

If you are looking for a good background for taking some pictures on your special occasion then it's the place you should visit. Calm and quiet with the scenic beauty of the Old mill that time to 1800.

A perfect place for a lazy walk while enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, to decompress and gather your thoughts. Weekdays is most likely the perfect time for such goal and less crowd.

Free !! Beautiful place!! Nice, relaxing, family oriented, great stop on our Christmas Holiday Road Trip from Hilton Head Island, SC. I am so happy my son pointed out this location as one of our stops. If you are around here, STOP! it's worth it!!

This was amazing the craftsmanship and design was amazing. Also the park is wonderful. Don't forget to go to the other entrance to see the old stump and giant mushroom

The Old Mill is so beautiful! If you are looking for a place to take prom photos, senior photos, engagement photos, family photos…. Take all the photos here! The grounds are well maintained, the turtles and ducks swim right up to you. The bridge is super cool and the old mill really is beautiful. There were some other people but not super crowded everyone gave each other their space here.

Very nice place, relaxing and peaceful. The scenery is gorgeous, a must-see if you're in the area.

It's a really pretty park, has ducks and turtles✨❤ I recommend coming to take pictures and have a picnic, doesn't Have a playground but does have proper restrooms.

The Old Mill is a beautiful garden, very peaceful and relaxing. We even had a picnic at the picnic tables. The property is very well maintained, I love seeing places like this being taken care of. Just Gorgeous!
