great beach town restaurant. large outside eating. live band. games. delicious food. could use more staff on the busy nights. went with a party of 13 with small children and accommodated quickly on a busy night. a must try.

Recently enjoyed a fantastic experience here. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming, creating a positive atmosphere from the start. Her friendly and attentive service added a personal touch to the evening. The overall ambiance was delightful, complemented by a diverse menu. Grateful for the outstanding service – highly recommend for both the delicious food and exceptional hospitality.

Excellent experience, the lovely hostess, Fatima (sorry if I misspelled your name, sweetheart) was absolutely amazing. She gave my wife fantastic recommendations for local attractions. She made sure our allergy and dietary requirements were known to our server and that it was my wife's birthday. She also made a point to stop by our table and make sure everything was going well after seating a nearby table while we were waiting on our food to arrive. What a beautiful smile, she has. I will forever carry cash in the future for the off chance that I encounter another Fatima, employees like her deserve tips as much as the servers. I hope you guys are taking good care of her!! Total gem. I wish she lived nearby our family restaurant. I'd try to poach her in a heartbeat. We will defintely be back on our next visit to Surf City!!

Local from Barnegat, been going to the island almost all my life. Needed to show the wife a nice Friday night out on the island, was reluctant to take her to the Northside as our experience last year wasn’t great but she insisted on giving it another try.
We were seated and the servers were nice, I had the fish tacos which were refreshing and delicious but my wife’s salmon was the star of the show. Full of flavor, cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious… and talk about presentation. Met the chef, Carmine, nice guy made my wife and I feel welcomed and appreciated. Told him we loved the food and he was very thankful. Gonna see him and the northside again soon!

Went here for a couple drinks, wrap and fries and have absolutely no complaints! The atmosphere was very welcoming and open. Our waitress Jamie was an absolute sweetheart, she was so friendly and attentive to our orders with great recommendations on the menu! We will be coming back here and asking for Jamie!

I was told by a friend “Hey, watch out for the bald bartender there, he’s got a real way about him.” After a few beers, we were finally graced with his appearance and were immediately bombarded with banter about his wife, hangover, and everything the other bartenders had done wrong in his absence. At first, it seemed rude and uncouth — but over the next few hours, I slowly realized his rough outer shell gave way to a guy who was simply seeking camaraderie among his staff and patrons. He poured us a few beers (on the house, of course) as we reminisced about our hometowns, college football, and his insubordinate subordinates. A truly great time, couldn’t recommend this place enough. Smash burger was just okay though.

The bar service was phenomenal! Great new menu! Keep up the great job !

Headed to the Northside about a week and a half ago for drinks with a friend. Great service!! Wonderful bartender - Dennis. Friendly and welcoming, made fantastic drinks for both my friend and I. We enjoyed a little banter and he shared some knowledge about the island and things to do. Great place, great drinks, great bartender! Highly recommend.

Went on a Saturday afternoon about 4:00. Had the most delicious wings and a burger just the way we asked for it - very rare! Bartender Dennis, chatted with us and suggested we try a Barbie shot - excellent choice! Will definitely be back!

I sat at the bar today and had the pleasure of having Kristen serve me. She was awesome and made my drinks perfectly. The food was good but Kristen is who made the night great! I also had the pleasure of talking to Morgan who was simply wonderful! Love this place and will return again!

This place is a family’s dream location. Outdoor seating after 4 pm was perfect. Activities for the kids to do while the adults could relax. And Fiona was exceptional!!!! She was first rate and was so responsive.

A favorite on LBI, always enjoy the food and drinks when in Surf City. Staff is great, especially Dennis at the bar. He's able to suggest great cocktails based on the type of things you like and ensures a well crafted drink. Also keeps everyone positive with good conversation and ability to relate. I try to make it a point to stop here whenever I'm in the area.

Great trip to the Northside today. Dennis the bartender was quite witty and a dear to speak with. His drink recommendations were top notch, and the smash burger was wonderful. Cannot wait to go back !

food was awesome . ahmed the manager came out and introduced himself which made us feel very welcome. service was fast and food was fresh and delicious drinks the watermelon margarita was to die for perfect after a good meal!!

So goood. I had the best time. We had a company retreat with thirty employees and Northside was the only place willing to accommodate us on LBI. Wings were oh so good can’t wait to visit again.

I’ve been here a few times. There’s a bartender outside name Jaime. She’s the sweetest. Great customer service, friendly and always a smile. Excellent bartender! Food is fabulous. Great local place!

Love this place!!! Great atmosphere I love the outside seating and the inside food was great servers were all very nice cool manager this is definitely my favorite place out Long Beach and I never leave comments or reviews so that says a lot I’m even writing this really good experience dems my ppls lol
