Great coffee spot, some street parking available. There was a large line on a Sunday morning but it moved very fast. Atmosphere is wonderful with plenty of places to sit. There is a lot of to-go coffee beans as well (they even grind it for you if you ask). Menu is expensive with both food and drink, we stuck with the cold brew. Cold brew was flavorful and delicious. Overall great experience will definitely be back

The hype is real. Everything we ordered we absolutely enjoyed. I can't even say that one was better than the other. In fact, the three of us ended up just sharing everything we ordered because we enjoyed it that much. That includes the drinks as well. The Horchata Latte was creative and delicious. The lemonade and raspberry ice tea tasted home-made and very fresh. The Tuna Salad sandwich, Chicken Pesto and Cali Chicken flatbread were on point. I would say the serving size for the meals were a bit small for the price but still very yummy. The sandwiches were accompanied with chips and a pickle. Definitely a must try. Note: they will bring your food to your table if you are dining in but not your drinks. You have to pick those up at the counter.

Revise: How You Brewin Coffee Company in Surf City was an excellent place to grab some coffee this morning. They not only had a wide variety of different flavored coffee like biscotti cookie, but they have a full Java selection as well. On top of that they have a wonderful atmosphere, which is very clean and an extremely friendly staff. if you’re in the area at all and want to enjoy a fresh cup of your favorite Java drink, I highly recommend How You Brewin Coffee Company.

This coffee shop provides indoor & outdoor seating. The shop is nicely decorated and obviously cleanliness is a priority so 2 thumbs up for that. I ordered iced coffee and I liked it. Service is good too.

Nice coffee spot. Food smelled and looked delicious, though we didn't get any, just had coffee. Quit busy, but we were still able to find a table and sit for a bit.

I’ve ordered ground coffee from their website before and really enjoyed it, but today I finally made a trip to their Surf City location. I’ve followed them on Instagram for a bit and they constantly encourage people to stop in or spend the day working there. Props to whoever does their social, because that’s what convinced me to make the trip. A lot about LBI has changed over the years, but this felt like a “locals” spot. I made myself at home, setting up my laptop knowing working there was acceptable. For this reason not only did I order coffee/breakfast, I stayed and ordered lunch before finishing my day. The staff was friendly and pleasant, the coffee selection is great, and the food was delicious. I plan to return again more consistently even though it’s a bit of a trip for me. I’d highly recommend stopping at How You Brewin!

This is my top favorite coffee shop in the universe and on the island and the staff is super friendly and the customers are really great people and they are very nice to everyone. It is the place for me.

Excellent coffee, excellent atmosphere, and good food too! Don’t sleep on How You Brewin; their already excellent coffee paired with their delicious selection of breakfast and lunch makes for an exceptional experience. A great place to stop in for a quick cup or to set a laptop up and get some work done. Try it if you haven’t!

Great coffee shop on the island. Swung by on an early morning to get some work done before my friends and family woke for the day. Good coffee and pastries too. Lots of seating and good free wifi.

We end our LBI trip here with food and coffee for our drive home. They work really hard and are very efficient getting through a massive line and remain in a good mood so having worked in food service, I’m impressed! Coffee and food a great! A must visit if in the area.

The best for remote work, catching up with friends, and enjoying some great drinks! Love their decaf options (including decaf iced coffee) and their avocado toasts. The staff are so kind and helpful and go out of their way to get to know you.

Have been coming down to LBI for the past 10 years, and enjoying HYB for the past 10 years. This year we went twice, and every morning started waiting in line at HYB. Reading some of the negative reviews here blows my mind. This is one of the friendliest, cleanest, and tastiest coffee shops I've ever been to. We will always spend every LBI morning in HYB! Also, the frozen horchata is amazing. Staff - make an extra large! Please!

As beautiful as the Barnegat lighthouse... Awesome coffee and almost all the items. Loved this place. Try their newly introduced flavors like turmeric latte.
