Francesco's Pizzeria & Restaurant

Pizza is a matter of personal taste. My wife and I tried a number of pizzerias over the years and they all made good pizza.
Francesco's does a great job and, in our opinion, is the best we've had in the area. Pizza is consistently good, the staff is pleasant and accommodating, delivery is as promised.

I have to say, this pizza is better than most places in North Jersey where I have 50+ year of experience. I saw this place while I was in the Shopping Center and new I was ordering thar tonight. The pizza was cooked exactly as requested and had great flavor, texture and crunch. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese with a great crust. I was expecting to have a long search for good pizza but nope, this is my spot. The woman who answered was very clear, polite and friendly. When I went to get it (yes they deliver) I know I had the same friendly lady taking my money. This place is an absolute must and a little gem tucked away. Now when friends and family visit, no excuses, there is good pizza right here. We'll done Francesco's. $13 & change for a large pie, well worth the price for quality. Now I need to explore the rest of the menu.

This place is the closest to my place there I work,so sometimes I treat myself with a few slices of pizza, cheese steak-specially buffalo,Stromboli and 🍟.The service is pleasant and taste of food is very good.Of course you can't please everyone but for me this place is perfect.

I always get the cheese steak special, and I'm extremely picky cuz I don't eat bread and I have other quirks lol. They're ALWAYS more than accommodating. Awesome place for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend. Oh, and the price for my huge cheesesteak is the same as a nasty burger at McDonald's.

This little gem is located in Crestwood shopping center. I wasn't even aware that they were there. I live literally 2 minutes away from Francesco's place. I absolutely love their cheese steak subs. Their pizza is yet another great find. I love their thin crust pizza! Did I mention the people who make these delicious treats? Francesco's, is run by a small staff of folks who care about what they prepare. Thanks Guys!

Who knew?! A Hidden Gem... Moved here 3 years ago from Brooklyn NY, I had to find good pizza! I've been in this shopping center, never knew it existed... I seen it, I thought it was closed till I walked in today, met Tara, who was very nice and ... I loved really love the slice I bought, this is my pizza go to place!

Adding on since my previous review, I've bought three pies since, that is how much I really enjoyed my slice that day! Everyone has their preference how they like their pizza, this was the place for me,

I stopped at this new pizza parlor on Monday their first day of business. There was a good crowd at the tables and some people were waiting at the counter. The staff were well organized and took my order which was two plain slices to go. I took the slices home and my wife and I tried them. We each gave a two thumbs up review. The prices are more than fair, $1.75 per plain slice. We will both go back and try a variety of items that are on their menu. Hopefully this business will not fail.

Pizza and cheesesteaks are delicious. We have ordered from the catering menu. We love the Manchester chicken! Had plenty of leftovers which we enjoyed.

Omg!!! I never do reviews unless I have an absolute horrible experience but I just had to do this one! By far the absolute best eggplant parm out of 4 states that we've lived in!! 👌 Spot on perfection! From the fresh sub roll, the delicious gooey fresh mozzarella, the beautiful sauce and the most perfect eggplant! This sub was absolute heaven!! The pizzas are equally delicious as well! Service is always pleasant with a willingness to please their customers and prices are great too. Definitely can't go wrong with Francisco's!

I had no idea this place exsted but it came up as the closest pizza place in my search. I don't expect the food in this town to be much of anything...it's Whiting. And honestly, most Italian places are the same. However, my order (online) was actually READ and the delivery driver read the delivery instructions (leave at door, please do not knock). THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I'VE ORDERED FOOD FROM ANYWHERE IN THIS TOWN WHERE MY ORDER AND DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS WERE ACTUALLY READ. I finally got to enjoy a hot meal without holding a crying baby! I am a single mom with a baby and two large dogs and literally never get time to sit down and eat. Thank you so much. Also my pizza was thin crust and well done just as I requested. Perfect!

Francesco's opened about a year ago to significant fanfare in our community from people looking for another alternative to just a couple of choices for authentic Italian food and Pizza. We waited before we tried them because like many newly opening restaurants they had a few items to work out. The response to their opening found people waiting in very long lines well into the parking lot for pizza and other food orders. Some of the initial reviews we not flattering because no one could possibly anticipate the volume of food orders that were placed and a number of people complained since they really didn't understand the complexity involved in opening a restaurant and being overwhelmed with food orders. Good news, bad news right? We waited still.

About two months ago we decided to give Francesco's a try and placed some take out orders. WOW, we were glad we waited and we were sorry we waited at the same time. The sauce (it's always all about the sauce) is fantastic for pizza and macaroni dishes. The portions are HUGE and the service is outstanding. In addition, the pricing is VERY reasonable especially given the amount of food that is served.

We have our new GO TO Italian Restaurant in town period and you should too. You will not be disappointed. Tell them Vinnie sent you.

This place is amazing! I’m Petsitting in the area for the week and I’ve already ordered from here twice. Vodka sauce pizza was so good that I figured I’d try the penne and vodka dinner with a side of meatballs and it was delicious.. big portions at a more than fair price.. I will for sure be ordering again before I leave the area. Highly recommended!

Had dinner at terrific new Pizzaria in Whiting. Eggplant Parmigiana and homemade meatballs were outstanding, as was the pizza. Salad was fresh and crisp. Owner is the Chef and makes you feel like a guest rather than a customer. Highly recommended.

Met owners husband / wife very pleasant to talk to and food is outstanding, Delivery is fast as well, just give time new driver to adjust to the area. Waitresses are polite. Thanks Guys keep up the good work. Bill

I was blown away by the food and the service. The bread melted in your mouth. The salad was simple but fresh, tasty, and refreshing. The Linguine with clam sauce lit up my taste buds. It was the best America Italian food I've had in years.

The pizzeria was good I only had one slice of pizza it was a Big slice for $2.40 I sat outside ate it on the table very good when I go back in September to take her to the dentist I will try a meatball sandwich or something like that

I’ve been waiting & waiting for this new Pizzaria to open!!!!
Well well worth more like Really well worth the wait. Wanted to get a quick check taste test. So had slice of plain pizza. Was certainly fresh. The crust is perfect the sauce is fantastic. The cheese like on most every pizza is nothing special as it is with any other Pizzaria’s it’s melted cheese.
(Not talking about melted fresh Moozz here). If the plain slice of pizza stands out on its own, I’m usually correct in saying that most anything on the menu will be outstanding!!!
Now that Francesco’s is open, I intend to see if my hunch is correct. Looking forward to it!
