A very special shore establishment for the most desirable Italian menu. Everything out of this kitchen is 5 stars, the quality is superb and the service is outstanding. The polpette and artichokes are a must. Go with a group and share everything!!

Reservations needed, this byob speakeasy restaurant impressed me.

Wait staff was attentive and our waiter had a great personality. Operations run very smoothly and the large window that shows the kitchen gives you a sneak peek of the action.

Started off the night with ordering the lamb chops chef's special appetizer with Barbabietole, their beet salad. The presentation of the meals allows you to admire the plate but it doesn't compare to the flavors that you will experience eating at Anjelica.

My main entree were the lemon pasta (agnolotti al limon) and the veal scallopini (saltimboca alla romana) and cannot rave about how delicious the meal was. A restaurant that their main entree is as delicious as their appetizers. Nothing was left on the plates.

Finished the evening with their pistachio cake.

I am absolutely returning to Anjelica's.

From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the staff, you know you're in for a unique Italian experience.
The ambiance is old school and relaxing, place was packed with families for birthday and celebrations.
Waiter helped me choose food and was on point with what I like.
Spice homemade pasta that was not on the menu and all the specials they had were incredibly tasty and well presented.
I posted some pics but it usually doesn't do it justice.
It's a must go for dinner or lunch😋😋

I have been here probably 50 times and every single time I go. EVERYTHING is excellent the Food service atmosphere and staff are incredible very friendly and always checking on you to make sure everything is good . There are a lot of very good restaurants in NJ but this one is definitely my favorite and the orange cake is amazing

This restaurant was all around amazing! My wife and I ordered both of our entrees off of the specials list, and what a good choice that was! The chicken Murphy special was really tasty, and very flavorful. The gemelli pasta special was also great. The servers were all super friendly and made it a nice environment. I definitely will come back! Great job

I can’t tell you how much this place made my wife’s birthday amazing , from the unbelievable honest food recommendations from our server Miguel , to Oscar the manager making sure our experience was memorable. We will be back again sooner than later

This place is nothing short but incredible. I have never tasted such authentic, delicious and impressive Italian food. This is more than comparable than going to eat in a town in Italy. Every meals from start to finish was perfect. The servers were on point and extremely knowledgeable of the menu & efficient. Will be returning. Not easy to get a reservation but if you can surely do so!

Went today for lunch and everything was so delicious!! Definitely worth trying and if you go get the poached eggs. They were so good for no reason! The orange cake dessert was also absolutely amazing! Would definitely go back! The only thing I didn’t take a picture of was the stuffed olives app which were very good.

Excellent food and service. One of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a very long time. I highly recommend eating outdoors at their restaurant as it has quite a feel of being in Italy

Anjelica's is definitely worth trying once! The food is fresh and very flavorful. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Anjelica’s had overrated written all over it but wow was I wrong. It has a lot of hype and overall it lived up to it. The cauliflower with gremolata was a perfect start to the meal. The olives stuffed with pork and fried were unique and a nice snack. For dinner we got the sole with lemon sauce. So good. My favorite thing was the carrot fettucine with ragu. That is a must order. I am coming back just for that! The homemade potato chips were a nice snack but not sure I would reorder. The flourless chocolate cake with ice cream was not my favorite. The food did take a while but all good. Byob just so you know. Prices are high but I guess the byob makes up for it. Will be back!

The food here is just divine - well-cooked, comforting Italian food. The entire menu was so appealing - we didn’t know what to pick. Very reasonably priced for what you get - we especially enjoyed the meatballs and pasta. Service was excellent.

My mom and I had an amazing meal at Anjelica’s! Carlos was superb, service was smooth and seamless, and managers were accommodating as well! Favorites were the carciofi (artichoke) special app, the orecchiette alla spicy vodka, and the tiramisu! Dying to come back and show the rest of my family how good it really is!

This was our 5th time dining at Angelica’s and food was excellent! Every time we go we try something new and each time we think it gets better and better . When you hear the specials of the night , your mouth is watering before the waiter is finished telling you, and I make him repeat it a million times because I want to order everything. The service was wonderful , the Maitre d’ s are always making sure you are comfortable and everything is perfection . (Carlos )our waiter is so attentive and accommodating, goes above and beyond . The ambiance was perfect … love the outside seating , so romantic, and beautiful.. (my favorite ) blankets , heaters, just so cozy , love love love that outside garden dining . ( feels like NYC ) .Overall, our experiences have been incredible. Lastly , the best of the best BYOB!!

We got the meatballs, best meatballs I’ve ever had . The orecchiette.. was unbelievably good and the caesar salad . Not pictured we got the pistachio pound cake for dessert that was also amazing. Highly recommend this place!

You get what you pay for is the best way to describe this gem. From the service to the food... simply outstanding. There's a reason reservations are hard to come by, and that alone is usually a good sign... but... a better sign is when while you're there, seated and enjoying your food, you get that old school feel. When you see customers, who are clearly repeat/regulars, coming back knowing everyone on a first name basis, it makes the whole experience feel warm and much more enjoyable, especially in a large group which me and my wife (birthday girl) experienced. Highly recommend, jus good luck trying to get a table the day before or day of.

Anjelica's is PHENOMENAL! Wonderful experience. The food was IMPECCABLE! Our waiters were amazing and very attentive to our party. There truly was not much (if anything) that we had to ask for. Very nice ambiance. We sat outside and enjoyed it very much. I had the prime rib and it was unbeatable!

If you are considering eating here, money well spent for a beautiful meal.
