My wife was recently buried in this cemetery. We purchased eight lots some years ago. When she was recently buried there was a lot of rain and has continued off and on to date. I understood the difficulty of the situation. That said, there were ample days to fix the grounds disrupted by conditions but nothing was done. I hired a landscaper to bring in top soil and fix the sunken ground and plant grass seed. I understand this was a manual fix without a tractor or other equipment. I was glad to do this and in a manner comforted me to feel closer to my wife. My concern is the longer term of the cemetery. There is obivious neglect such as bare spots and improper grading in some areas along with stones and ground markers being improperly installed for elevation, at least in my opinion. All this said, I think the cemetery has wonderful potential but it must have more than secondary attention. I hope to meet with the folks in authority and discuss the issues as I see them. These issues are very fixable and certainly help lead to a cemetery we can all be proud of in the future. Do you, as lot owners, know the governing people for the cemetery? Neither do I, but I hope and plan to know more very soon. I would ask all lot owners to join and take an active role in this effort which should be to improve and offer suggestions without criticizing. It is clear there is a problem so lets work to fix the problem. I am 80, but I can still handle a shovel, piick up sticks and cut grass..

This is the saddest looking cemetery I’ve ever seen. Only a week past Memorial Day and all of the flowers were thrown away. You can’t put any artificial flowers that might last longer than a few days on the graves even if the grave has a vase on it. Because it would be “too much trouble” for someone to pick up the flowers that might blow out during a storm, and when they try to mow over them, it messes up the lawn equipment. “Mow over them”.... because people have so little respect for the deceased that they would actually MOW OVER their memorial flowers. Seriously?!? Also, there are giant patches of brown dirt instead of grass. Not for newly dug graves, but by my mother who has been gone for 17 years.... because they’re too lazy and cheap to put down some grass seed.

Not to mention there are cave-ins all over the place. Again, not around new graves.... everywhere. It’s not only tacky but a serious trip and fall risk for people trying to visit their loved ones.

The reason given for all of this is that they only have part time staffing.... my mother didn’t pay part time money for this burial plot.

If you didn’t plan to do long term upkeep, then maybe you shouldn’t have started a cemetery here in the first place.

Get it together.

Seriously disturbed by the whole thing.

I am truly sorry that my Father is buried there. NO fake flowers allowed!!! This place looks so bland since no arrangements allowed. Other cemeteries look so beautiful with all the flower arrangements and Abunbant life looks.........well.................dead. Sorry Dad, I wish I had paid attention to the small print so that I could express myself with an arrangement. Please change this restriction ASAP
