We came in to have a family celebration for my parents 50th Anniversary. They accommodated us and took great care. We enjoyed the wood fired steaks, the bread with cinnamon honey butter especially. Our waitress was patient and attentive. Overall a great dining experience.

Old River Town Charmer...J. Miller's rendition of a family restaurant, steakhouse, and pub have been melded into one fine dining experience. The wood fired steaks have a unique flavor that will keep you returning again an again. However, the White Cheddar Mac-n-Cheese is going to be a staple a definite must have at our next visit as well as the Onion rings, Coleslaw, and shrimp cocktail. My brother had the Filet and Mindy his wife had the Shrimp Skewers and my wife and I both had the Tiffany sirloin...Everyone had a great dining experience...will gladly return in the future even if it is an hour away from out home. They are also willing and able to handle large crowds wanting to share a gathering.

So excited for this place! Opening a saloon upstairs and great food downstairs. You can't miss the history and nostalgia along the breathtaking Ohio River. Down home treatment with staff that talk to you and love the history. Food is good, the experience is better. Hoping to see and hear some fun music when the upstairs returns to the exciting life it used to have. Alot of potential here, love it!

Amazing food and great service!

Just had an absolutely wonderful dinner with my wife. Service, ambiance, food, and drinks were all 10/10. Very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food. We each tried a few things from all over the menus and were very impressed. A must visit when near Aurora.

Recently had a family celebration dinner here for my 70th BD. The steaks were perfection, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. The complimentary piece of cheesecake they served me for my BD was superb. Highly recommend. Does not disappoint.

I got the ribeye with their Mac and cheese and loaded fries.

Let me state, everyone of the 10 person party loved their food and the waitress serving our table (Caitlin D). She was amazing, funny, and plenty loud for everyone at the table to hear her.

Everything at this restaurant I tasted was amazing, the cheddar in the Mac and cheese is so strong and delicious, the fries are crispy when they're not loaded, and the ribeye is so soft it basically melts in your mouth.

Their steaks are amazing, their ribs looks plentiful and delicious, I'm not a fish guy but their fried cod looked to die for. On top of that everything came out in about 30 - 45 minutes for a Friday at 5-6 pm.

Loved their coleslaw too.

We came across this little gem while trying to find a non-chain place to eat that was between Louisville and Dayton and holy molly, totally worth it! The food was absolutely incredible! The steaks melt in your mouth, the cheesecake was the best I've had in a decade! We will definitely return!
And the history of the place was pretty entertaining too!

I do an annual visit to Aurora every July. This is the first restaurant I take my cousin out to eat. The food is always excellent.

Cheyenne was I server and she was amazing. Food was great and we will definitely be going back and recommending this place 😁

J. Miller’s provides a warm, welcoming, family atmosphere. The food was well prepared and had good flavor. Ownership was extremely helpful when we left our credit card there and they were closed for the July 4th holiday… they still made time to assist us. Good people. Good food. Good time.

Food was delicious. Service was phenomenal. Upstairs is full of history, gotta ask about it.

Accidentally stumbled across this hidden gem while away for work. So glad I did. Have been there twice now and it does not disappoint.
The food is AMAZING and the staff is absolutely wonderful and pleasant.
Emily and Melissa were extremely pleasant and professional.

We went here to celebrate my birthday and I was very happy with the delicious food (we had steak and salmon) and the atmosphere was nice. The service was slow but it was understandable since the restaurant was full. The server was very friendly.

First time dining here and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is very cozy. It was a Tuesday evening so not a big crowd. We were seated promptly and our waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming. Prices are to be expected for steaks but there are plenty of options if you're not looking to spend a lot. I recommend this place and will be returning.

First time eating here and we will definitely be back. My husband and I both ordered steaks. They were somewhat fatty but after trimming all the fat away the steak was delicious! We will probably try something different next time. We are excited about the upcoming outdoor seating also. So glad to have a good steakhouse in the area.

My family and I LOVE j.miller. Building is beautiful, food and drinks are great. But best thing is, service is seriously always top notch. Doesn’t matter if they're slow, or on a wait. Service is great! Megan is our favorite!
