PMC regional hospital

I’ve been in a lot of hospitals, stayed over night or multiple nights in my 56 years. I had a total knee replacement at PMC and was the best experience I’ve had with everything from the facility, cleanliness and especially the staff.

Everyone from registration to surgery to post op care went above and beyond. They made me extremely comfortable and genuinely showed a caring bed side manner.

Next time you go to a hospital, see if you receive a thank you note signed by the staff like I just did. I know this was a 1st for me.

During my recent stay at the hospital, I experienced the kind of care and compassion that truly went above and beyond any expectations I could have possibly had. This being my first major surgery, I was naturally anxious about the procedure and the hospital stay that would follow. However, the nursing staff here quickly turned what could have been a daunting experience into a remarkably smooth and comfortable recovery. From the moment I arrived and even now days later every nurse I've encountered has been the epitome of sweetness, patience, kindness, and caring. Their attentiveness to not just my medical needs, but also my comfort and emotional well-being, has been extraordinary. They have an incredible way of making you feel like you're not just a patient in a bed, but rather a valued member of a caring family. This personal touch has significantly eased my recovery process, making it much easier than I ever imagined. Their dedication to patient care has set a new standard for me, one that will serve as a benchmark for what healthcare should be. It's rare to encounter such a universally exceptional team, and it's clear that their commitment to excellence in patient care is deeply ingrained in their ethos. As much as I am looking forward to going home, I must admit, there's a part of me that will genuinely miss them. To the nursing staff, thank you for your unwavering support, your boundless compassion, and for making a challenging time in my life as pleasant as it could possibly be. You have made all the difference in my recovery, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

My fiancé just had to have a major neck surgery with Dr. Bjerke, and I’m so glad it was at this facility. Neither of us have ever experienced the level of care they provided. Every single staff member was superb, especially Kim, Kassie, and Carol. These ladies went above and beyond. The facility was clean and comfortable. This surgery was a great source of stress on us, and the care he received eased all of it. I cannot say enough great things about this facility/staff. I will forever be grateful to all the staff that took such great care of my fiancé! The whole experience here was top notch. Thank you PMC staff!

All the staff that helped prep me for surgery did amazing. They were all so respectful and made me feel comfortable the whole entire time. It was a fast and easy process.

Top Notch! So thankful for the entire staff. From the moment I walked in for my procedure, I knew I was in good hands! After care nurses went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable!

Our 16 month old had to have a very minor procedure to have tubes in her ears put in. The nurses were so amazing with her and us! They did everything g they could to make sure that our baby was comfortable and even having fun while waiting for the surgery. The Nurse manager even let us into her office to let her play with decorations hanging from the ceiling. She loved that!! The hardest part was seeing our baby go back without us. When we were finally able to go back and they brought her to us we could tell how much the nurses cared for her. We appreciate everything! You really deserve more than 5 stars! Thank you!

I honestly had the best experience here. I was super nervous, but Dr. Harrell did my procedure. Him and his team were all very nice, professional and they made me feel better after explaining what was going to be done. They were very quick. I got my results immediately afterwards. Thanks again to everyone that helped me yesterday! You guys were amazing ❤

I had ankle surgery Dec 15, 2023. My nurses were awesome. Kim for pre-op, Vanessa post-op and Rachel at discharge. Even Jenny that called the next day. All sweet, knowledgeable, beautiful girls.

Came in for a R knee replacement, these folks are great!
Dr Smith did the surgery flawlessly, my team: nurse David, CNA Mandy, NP Jenna & PT Rachel took excellent care of me.
No cafeteria was definitely not a problem. The food offered was top notch & available at any time. I’ve had worse room service at nice hotels.
Highly recommend!!

My husband had a surgery here and we were very pleased with the experience. The staff was great. He had a great outcome. They allow a overnight guest and have a futon/couch that I actually was able to sleep on. I recommend this facility.

PMC Hospital is one of the finest medical facilities I have had the good fortune to be a patient. Dr. Dresner has been my physician. The nurses and staff are absolutely superb, professional and create an upbeat environment. The facilities are cleaned to a shine, modern and conducive to good results. Highly recommend PMC Hospital! Please remain Doctor owned and operated, do not get sucked into one of the big box hospitals medical decay. Keep up the great work.

I had a colonoscopy here. The facility is clean...including bathrooms. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My nurses and anesthesia were perfect. Dr. Harrell stopped by after the procedure and explained preliminary interpretations. I could nit pick about my inability to reach someone the day before my procedure...but I won't because it was 2 January and you made up for it by taking good care of me. Thank you!

I've had two surgeries here and each time I have been significantly impressed by the quality of service. The nurses are incredibly attentive and caring, and the doctors stop by regularly to confirm what you are in surgery for and to check on any questions you have. Dr Shep has done both of my surgeries and is the best doctor I've ever had. Facilities are very clean and all of the instructions they give are clear. They even send a thank you/get well card after you leave. I couldn't recommend this location more!

I had lithotripsy at this facility yesterday. The quality of health care was quite simply the best I've ever experienced.

Everyone I came into contact with from start to finish was kind and efficient, from Ariana (who scheduled me for the procedure, Kelsey (who handled my pre-op interview), Kimberly (the RN who prepped me) and Julie (the RN who assisted in the procedure).

The physicians were great too. Dr. Liem (medical director and the anethesiologist, I think) came in to speak with me beforehand. A gentle man who truly seemed to care, he was a great listener and fielded my questions with much kindness and patience.

Dr. Kmetz, the urologist, also came in to see me before the procedure. He obviously knows his stuff because he said afterwards he had blasted the large kidney stone causing me the most trouble to oblivion. Mission accomplished!

Based on my experience, I would recommend PMC to anyone. Not only was there very little waiting around, but the individual attention I received was beyond compare.

A little bit longer of a wait then I liked because my doctor arrives late. But as far as the set up, the procedure, and the after care, it was 1 of the best I have dealt with. Friendly staff, ready to help, smiling faces, do anything the can within the boundaries for the patient. A+

I came in for a lithotripsy yesterday and was super nervous but the staff was very accommodating and did a great job. Dr. Medley performed my procedure and was very easy to talk to and answer my questions. I was also very impressed with my recovery nurses, Dian and Erica. Dian has a very caring personality and anyone could tell she was made for this profession! Thanks for making a stressful day a little easier for me!

I recently had surgery at PMC and I cannot say enough good things about the facility and staff, the nurses are the most kindest and caring I have ever dealt with, always someone there to help me, never had to wait for someone to show up, the center is spotless and quiet. Should I ever need surgery again I pray I am able to go here! ❤👍

Great experience for my ankle surgery. Got this card in the mail a few days after my surgery… it made me smile!!

This hospital is “squeaky clean” and the Staff was awesome. Nurse Amber in post-op was wonderful in getting me ready for surgery and very informative as to “what’s next”. The surgical staff was very kind and sympathetic and got on with the business of getting me well. The recovery nursing staff (Joy, Rachel, Steph just a few) were in my room seconds after I buzzed them and addressed all my requests. The food was very good. I am glad I chose this hospital instead of a much larger one.....more personalized care.

Having had procedures at 3 other hospitals, I can say that this place is HANDS DOWN the BEST healthcare experience I've ever had. Literally every person was so incredibly nice and I felt so well cared for. No one wants to have medical procedures, but if you have to have one, I can't recommend this place highly enough! All the stars for these fine folks!!
