A+ The best donuts by far! The service is exactly what you want- friendly, efficient and helpful. They have been around for many years so they have lots of experience. The overall feeling when you walk in is HOME. I think that because they are family owned and have been in the same small town that they have a strong base of returning customers. They don't need to be any thing but exactly what and who they are. We will be back and can see making the trip ever so often!

My child and I come almost once a week to check out the new creative goodies at Linne's! The long-tenured staff are always a smiling face to chat and catch up with, the quality has never waivered on their bakery items, and there is always a new/fun cookie available that is relevant to the season/local events/ etc.

Linne's is a Shelbyville staple. The new owners are keeping the tradition of excellence going strong.

I grew up going there as a treat if I got out of school early/going late or in the summer.
As an adult, I treat my once challenging bus route to an assortment of donuts a few times a year following good behavior. I did the same when I drove in another district and bought from the Sweet Shoppe in Greenfield. The kids are always ecstatic to see I bought them donuts from Linnes instead of Dunkin’!
While I admit I haven’t had every donut, my favorite is the chocolate iced filled barn. It’s the perfect mix of a rich pastry, chocolate, and just the right sweetness of icing inside.
The owner of Linnes is just the coolest. Very down to earth, extremely hard worker, honest, and I love that he carries his firearm with him. He exercises his right to keep him, his employees, his customers, and his business safe. It is refreshing to see conservative Christian business owners- but- they are welcoming and happy to serve EVERYONE!
Parking can be a chore during the normal breakfast hours, but that might be better with the new parking garage. I am usually there around 6:30am and don’t have a problem parking the bus right there.
Most recently, I ordered a half sheet cake for my casual BBQ wedding reception. It was comparable price to Sam’s club or elsewhere- plus our local Kroger isn’t even taking cake orders due to short staff.
It was perfectly moist and a huge hit. Everyone was happy to indulge in a locally owned business’ product and brought back some memories for friends who had fancy wedding cakes done for their wedding decades ago from Linnes.
It’s a cute place, good prices, excellent food, and wonderful people. Shop local and come in for your donuts or lunch!

Had the tenderloin sandwich today and it was awesome! Always have great pastry. Very friendly and clean!!

This is a little slice of heaven in the middle of nowhere. What a beautiful shop and lovely people. Their doughnuts are more than fair priced (so fair I tried to buy everyone a doughnut and instead they gave me one for free!). I cannot recommend them enough! Please visit here instead of that God forsaken casino and bless the people at Linne’s.

As new residents to Shelbyville, we were so pleased to find a delicious bakery downtown. The cake donut was to die for, and the glazed twist was just as good. I highly recommend stopping in for a pastry.

They ladies there are always so professional and friendly, even at 5:00 in the morning! They were able to bake a special order for me with just 2 days notice, which was greatly appreciated by my coworkers!

And by the way.... their cronuts which they bake on Friday and Saturday are phenomenal!!!

I couldn't have any because I can't have gluten but took too a family gathering and brownies were a hit!

So good! Staff super nice and friendly 👌 There isn't anything in there that doesn't taste amazing!

One of my favorite things from this shop is their peanut roll. It is so delicious!

That alone gets a 5 star rating. There have been times where I’ve gotten a not so fresh baked good from here... but overall this is a really great shop. Delicious food and fair prices!

The bad this is that they sell out of things very quickly. Get there early!

I think I've eating every donut that they ever make.lol And I love them all. As far as the cafe, I haven't really had the opportunity to try it out yet. But I'm sure it will be good and the service will be great like always. I highly recommend them.😀

Great bakery. Good sandwiches and salads.

I went in today to get a few things for my wife, and we were absolutely blown away with everything we got. Absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful. I can’t recommend enough. If you are in shelbyville and want a delicious treat. Give them a try, you can’t go wrong.

I was hoping to snag a couple of cronuts but I was too late. I really wish they would offer them more than 2 days a week or make more so they don't sell out so quickly. It wasn't a wasted trip because they still had 4 glazed cakes. Yummy!!

I have traveled through Europe and across the US. This is the bakery I always return to. Their chocolate eclairs are the best ever! I have stopped trying to find them anywhere else because I am always disappointed because they never live up to Linne's. I don't know what I will do if Linne's isn't available....

I grew up coming to this bakery! It has the small-town feel to it with a wonderful staff of people. The baked goods are to die for and extremely delicious. Great coffee, food, and people of all ages! I highly recommend this shop to anyone!
