Hoosier Bar & Grill

I've been hunting down the best Hoosier Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich in Indiana. This one did NOT disappoint.
By far the most TENDER one I've tried... and pretty thick.
Seasoning was great,... salt and pepper, only, (I'm guessing). Perhaps a hint of garlic powder.
It wasn't near as thin as Edinburgh (which is supposedly the best in the state).... but I didn't like theirs... tasted more like a fritter that you get out of the frozen dept. So thin you could see light through it. Don't waste your gas going to Edinburgh.
And i have to mention the beer-battered fries... oh my, they were delicious! I would've been happy just eating the fries. I'd never even heard of beer-battered fries.
I highly recommend Hoosier Bar & Grill.
I also give a shout-out for KEYLA, the bartender that waited on me. I probably have her name totally wrong. But she was super friendly. A great server!

This place is excellent. Food, environment, and staff are excellent. Connor, Keyla, Amanda and the whole staff are so great! I've heard legendary stories of the pork tenderloin here and never tried it until a few weeks ago. It's as advertised. Giant, tender, and delicious. A full two meal for this ol lump of coal.

I was fortunate enough to have a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich when I was a child, as my parents grew up in southeastern Indiana. Having resided in Tennessee for most of my days I never have the opportunity to get one sadly. Wife and I stopped in here and I was completely satisfied with their tenderloin sandwich. Perfectly cooked, massive in size and taste 😏

Ordered the catfish sandwich and it was perfect. Lightly fried with a great seasoning for the batter. Mine with onion and pickles. The tartar sauce was fantastic! I do recommend stopping in when you are in the area.

The tenderloin is very good!
I'm not much on the bar scene anymore. We went hear to listen to some friends play music - the All Access Band. Their awesome if you haven't heard them play!
Back to Hoosiers, it's a nice small bar with VERY good food.

Really solid burgers and appetizers. Need more on tap craft beers (maybe something from new Belgium?!)! We love coming here for trivia and bingo.

Excellent Food ~ Fast Friendly Service. My husband had The Philly, which he enjoyed. Fries were delicious so I had to steal/help him with them. I had a bowl of chili which was very good, especially on this rainy day. Already planning what we'll try next time we're in.

Their breaded tenderloins are great! We had good food and service today. Love the huge TV. Great for games

Definitely prefer the bar side, but the family side works when the kiddos are in tow. I love going to a place that knows what I want as soon as I sit down.

Good service and great food. First time being there and we will be back for sure. My wife got the tenderloin and it is huge had to have a doggie bag, I got the Garlic Burger and it was excellent. Food was hot and fries were hot and crispy. Service was very good and warm and inviting.

The tenderloin was amazing. The server was very friendly and helpful.

Great staff, they have great Burgers and their chicken wings are amazing.

The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. We were told that it would be a 45 minute wait for did because they were really busy, but the service was fast and the food was some of the best we've had for awhile. My cheeseburger was so big, I could hardly take a bite. My husband's tenderloin was the biggest one I've ever seen and it was really good. Will definitely be back!

We did not get food, but really enjoyed the band, One Night Stand. Had a good time.

Good food overall sat ribs are one of my favorites and the mushroom are the best I ever had. Excellent service very friendly staff.

Working storm, came in after kitchen had closed, guys were nice enough to stay open a little longer to fix us a hot meal Great Food Great people Wonderful time!

Ordered carry out tonight. Husband got the tenderloin which is always awesome and makes 2 meals. And classic cheeseburger for me. First time ordering this. I consider it the best burger I have ever had. Delicious. Veggie topping very fresh. Thank you for an awesome dinner tonight Hoosier!
