Book Corner

Wonderful old-fashioned bookstore with a contemporary management mind behind it! In addition to a terrific selection of books, there are more jigsaw puzzles than I've ever seen in one place (properly sorted, too), and bits and bobs of everything from cards and rulers to sketchbooks and art supplies. A wonderful place to browse, and they ship. Wish you were in my town.

This place is adorable! There were perfect greeting cards and little gifts as well a a good selection of books.

As a (disabled) great-grandmother who loves buying books for the kiddos, it was delightful to get individual help in choosing & buying books via a phone call! Customer service is alive and well at Book Corner!

Found a couple of keepsakes that I couldn't live without! I have kindle unlimited, but there's something cozy about curling up with a physical book and hot tea on a rainy day - which I assume we will have again someday soon... :)

I just wanted to give a nice review because the staff is really lovely here and it's the only place I've ever seen sell kliban cat things which I'm very nostalgic for. Nice place to grab last minute gifts too.

This is a real, proper, bookshop. Packed with books from floor to ceiling, so lots to discover, yet small enough, and in an interesting enough building, to have character. It also has the proper smell of bookstore 🙂 These days, I live in Colorado, which has absurdly low humidity, and while I hadn't realized until I visited here, bookshops lack that wonderful, special, smell here. As a great fictional character once said, "learning should be smelly". This place is perfect 👍👍

Was looking for a new puzzle and we chose the right place. Super friendly and cozy. Be careful of those puzzles on the top shelves or six may fall down on top of you lol

If it's not there, they can get it for you fast! Great humans!!!!

This place has been around for a long time (25+ years) and every time I come to town from DC to visit family, I make sure to drop by. The selection of goods is highly curated, with a selection focused on local authors and Indiana history, plus sizeable collections on art and photography, cookbooks, and a large selection of nonfiction. The sci fi and fantasy selection is good, but not their big focus. Also contains a children's section and arts and crafts. Lots of magazines and adult coloring books available too. Great place to get you and loved ones gifts!

Great location on the square and excellent selection of books. They have the best selection of journals and greeting cards that I've ever seen in a bookstore. With Amazon putting lots of places out of business, we make a point to support local stores, and the Book Corner makes it easy. If they don't have a book in stock, they order it for you and call when it's ready to be picked up.

I will definitely be back! It's an awesome store with fantastic selection. It is quite cramped, so I wouldn't bring a stroller, though!

Shopping for my grandson's first birthday. This store has a fantastic selection of children's books, as good or better than any big box or chain store I have ever seen. Quality offerings. And the man running the shop was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and very polite. Can't say enough about this "new" find, although it's been here in this same location for over 50 years. Hope others new to Bloomington discover it as well.

Great independent bookstore. Lots of fresh titles and always willing to order books that are not on the shelf. It's like walking back in time to be able to browse hardcopy books after spending so much time reading digital copy. I really just love to go in and be a part of the tangible part of books. Highly recommended!

Great little bookstore! Friendly staff and well-curated selection.

Charming independent bookstore with friendly staff and a great selection of new books, magazines, and fancy greeting cards. Especially strong in crafts, children's, pop-up books, and art & photography. I love the section dedicated to Penguin paperback classics! The only downside is that the historic location is not wheelchair accessible.

Very nice local bookmonger. If need be they will special order books ... Even out of print if they are still available

Best bookstore in town. Amazing staff who give excellent, thoughtful recommendations and remember you the next time. Wonderful selection of books and magazines and other items. Prices are good and you can't beat the location right in the heart of it all. We love this place!

I love this place. Surprisingly good selection of books, really awesome cards, lovely puzzles, journals, planners, etc. The staff has always been super helpful and nice when I've been there. I highly recommend them.

I love shopping here. But today was an example of their wonderful customer service- I am looking to get my Grandmother's cookbook rebound and they popped up as a vendor that would do it. I called and they don't but, referred me to another local shop that hopefully can do it or have contacts to can help me. Another example of B-ton at its best!😁
