The Tudor Room

The room and atmosphere are truly excellent. The food and service are OK. Everything is a buffet, with a good salad bar, hit or miss main course buffet (usually one dish is good) and a wonderful dessert buffet where you want to eat everything. They used to have world class coffee but now is it burnt roast. Reservations are a good idea; it was mostly empty when we were there but I've also been unable to get a table due to the crowd.

To start off, the Tudor room has a great atmosphere where the interior design is unmatched by any place with a similar price range. The food menu changes daily and the weekly menus can be found online, so you can check and decide when you want to come in. The quality of the food is also good especially for a buffet, from starters to desserts.

There were plenty of vegetarian options. However, I was not sure about some ingredients since their names were unique. There was a nice live music.

Our experiences at the Tudor Room to celebrate Coach Hobie’s life was more than outstanding!! The food was fresh and tasty; coffee just right and the pastries will make anybody’s mouth water. The decor and the piano and everything else was just right! The building is very historic and festive at the same time. Highly recommend this place!!

For the 2nd year, our family had our Christmas gathering here. Delicious buffet! Nice staff that gave excellent service today. Very nice people.

Sunday brunch is usually great.

The Tudor Room has been a solid mainstay for me on the Indiana University campus for the past 15 years. The food is always good. The atmosphere and space is easy and gracious. The servers have been consistently attentive and courteous. The selection of food, including the salad bar and large desert table, has always been satisfying and of high quality. Grateful for the Tudor Room through the years.

The staff here are very friendly. I love the fact that they have this restaurant on campus. I will definitely have to go back for sure. However, it can get extremely busy in this restaurant.

As long as Nick Armstrong is running the place it will be great! Sunday brunch is back with outstanding prime-rib and omelet-station. Good variety of food! Salad bar can be a bit less boring but still gives enough to choose from.

You are all rockstars! Thank you so much for all of your help and being a dream team last weekend for the Kha Wedding! I am so excited to come back again as the venue was accommodating, beautiful and the fact that you all made it more fun and a better experience all around. When they say it takes a village to have a wedding they're not kidding, but you ensured all of the vendors had assistance as needed and that the evening was wonderful!

Food served here is as good and fancy as the room itself.
50+ items to indulge in for an extremely reasonable price (Further discount if you are a student at IU). The staff is very warm and my server, Lexi took very good care of me. Highly recommend visiting here.

I love this place. I wish they add more vegetarian entries, and decrease the amount of sugar they add to their desserts.

One reason to come to Bloomington. Tudor Room rocks. Great food and great VALUE.
