Rabbit Hash General Store

This is one of my go to spots on a pretty, sunny 🌞 day. Just the drive down is so beautiful and scenic, it's a piece of sanity. Relaxing atmosphere. Summertime local bands, with pig roast and cold beer 🍺 if you go one time, you will be back.

A very cool place to go visit, really takes you back in time. A great time pace to go down on a nice sunny afternoon and take a stroll. Everybody is super nice down there and always have a good story to tell!

Let's see. A bunch of aged hippies in a decades-old General Store in a National Landmark, a ferry ride from Rising Sun and the Rising Star casino across the Ohio River on a river boat. What's not to like? A General Store, winery, shop with arts and crafts and other weird stuff, an artist studio, and an outdoor barbecue restaurant. Oh, and the Mayor is a DOG. Any questions???

This little store has great drinks and snacks and fun things to see! We love to ride our motorcycles here, park and get an old fashioned soft drink.

Found this little gem when we went to see The Ark. Very cool little town with a beautiful ride getting there. Had a good band playing down by the water and neat stuff everywhere. So glad people told us about it. Nice biker hangout!

A really unique experience, takes you back to the "Good Old Days". A great meeting place for bikers with music laid on as well.

Been here a few times and brought some friends along today that have never visited before. The General Store is a great place to visit that has been Established since 1831.

Always a pleasure to drive down to Rabbit Hash for some of the best food from chef Hippie, RJ and Megan.

Fun little town to go to. The atmosphere is laid back, and comfortable. My husband and I rode our motorcycles there on a day trip. There was an election getting ready to happen for the new dog mayor. The dogs were hanging out. There was guys playing bluegrass music. The food was really good. Lots of cool things in the general store.

Just a cool little place, our first time. The wine tasting room up on the hill was very cool. The BBQ we had was on point, and the chicken wings were the best we've had. Please don't change a thing. The store was cool and has cold drinks and snacks , shirts and souvenirs.

Delightfully adorable. It's everything an "old country store" should be. Some pantry goods, lots of unique items, delicious sweets, and SUPER FRIENDLY people. I loved checking it out!

A must see little town. It's right by the river because it was a riverboat stop, back in its hay day. Bikers love visiting because of the winding roads to get there. I was told that in the summer they are so busy with families that its hard to find parking. It's a little drive through town that you will want to stop at because of its uniqueness.

Super fun day trip. We spent about 90 minutes exploring around and inside the door. Super family friendly and a great past from the past. My kiddos said it was like a mini Gatlinburg.

Up. Staff are super friendly and happy to help. Store has necessities and lots of cool stuff. Note: food in area is great. It’s on the Ohio river with Illinois on the other side. Good place to stop a couple hours.

Wonderful scenic location for an authentic country store. Restored after fore to historical requirements, this store is a must stop. Parking available. Suitable for kids. Definitely a repeat. Awesome adventure for the family.

Go to the general store. Enjoy the old time items they sell...if lucky enough to be there for a barn dance GO!!! Fun time and the bands are awesome!! Try the place across the street....best wine I have ever had

The General store is such a throw back in time. View of the river is awesome. Visit Rabbit Hash, grab a double cola, candy and shirt from the General Store. Eat lunch at Chef Hip E's he served up an awesome burrito. Tour the wine tasting room, shop in the mercantile for that one of a kind item or gift.

Primarily a biker destination, both motor and pedal, nice view of Rising Sun across the river. Quaint little place with friendly people. Food, art stores also
