Chava’s Mexican Grill

Always very nice staff, the food is always fresh and delicious, and they're never really too busy so you get your food pretty quickly. The only thing I'd say is wrong with it is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It's pretty rough. But other than that, amazing place. I go frequently with my friend.

I love this place its honestly my favorite and it’s grab and go build your own the super burrito is a must I always get extra meat and all but for me it a two meal burrito!

One of the best choices for late night food. Conveniently located next to several bars on Wabash. Great place to end your night or grab a bite between bars.
Only drawback. Street parking is limited as it is close to all the bars.

I am talking about Vincennes. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, but the owner needs a new publicist. The Mexican restaurant across the street is packed, and there are never any customers at Cheva's. He needs a massive promotion campaign to get people in the restaurant so they would understand it's a much larger, nicer place. The food is better the service is good, but no one does anything to promote this restaurant. Many of my friends have never even heard of it. If he had the right publicist to get this place going, he could make a success of it. I don't know if he wants the losses for a write off, or if he would really like to make it a success. I would be happy to help him make a go of this place if he wanted a good publicist.

Great quick food for take out. Get the super burrito.

Visiting for just one night. Walked out of hotel across street hungry. Had three very tasty tacos that were priced right. Love the decor. Would go again.

Love Chava’s so much. The super burrito is bigger than my head lol. Used to walk here from campus late at night and it always hit the spot. The customer service is nice as well.

Good, fresh food and quick service. We have eaten here hundreds of times over the years. Especially good option for late nights, but my kids love the quesadillas too.

They have delicious loaded steak burrito that i was very impressed with. It was almost as good as the best burrito I've ever eaten, which was in Vallejo, California. I recommend trying this place if you haven't. They do it subway style so you can build your own burrito if you want to. That's only the thing I recommend because its what i always get. I'm told everything on the menu is good, so if burritos aren't your style but fast Mexican food that didn't come out of the microwave is, then Chavas is the place.

Back home to visit friends and family and Chava's was definitely on my "Places to go while I'm home" list! So happy to see (and taste) that the quality of food is still the same. Without a doubt put a smile on my face! I would definitely recommend this place to any and everyone!

Excellent, fresh food, made to order right in front of you. Great prices. Great service. This is the best mexican restaurant in town that you can consider fast food as well.

You guys.... This is the best Mission style burrito you'll ever have. Everything is fresh and tasty. They are open late, have Pacifico beer, and a margarita mixer big enough to bathe your toddler. A Must Visit for sure.

Amazing food, made right in front of you. Quick and easy food! Great for lunch or dinner. The chimichangas were made to perfection and the burritos are HUGE! Even the refried beans were cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back!

I really don't understand how anyone can think a place that serves a burrito,tacos or nachos your way is over priced. Everything is fresh and the place is very clean. For about the same price I would pay elsewhere for a burrito that was mostly beans and sour cream I got a o e filled with chicken, rice and cheese along with a small drink. The major difference here is you go up to the counter to order instead of a waiter coming to your table.

My first time here I bought a super burrito you build it yourself omfg fabulous and the customer service was 💯 the best I won't go back to any other place I want Mexican this is it oh the burrito is worth the price I will test the other menu items got chips and cheese delicious.....

Never have I ever experienced such a thing as a Chava's quesadilla. Many a night I have longed for an experience to even rival my stint at this exquisite paramount of Mexican cuisine. I would recommend this establishment to all who consider themselves a connoisseur of this style of eatery.

Really good food and friendly staff. I eat here very often. I do believe you have to watch on what you add (like guacamole) and keep track of what it should cost. I feel I've been over charge before.

Burritos are about $8 which might seem like a lot, but they are well worth it. These things are massive and made to order. I loved the pastor.
