Maple Avenue Nature Park

This park is so beautiful. On the smaller side, but has so much. Play area for kids, nice walk around the pond. Just a lovely place to watch the 2024 solar eclipse

Went here for the eclipse and it was great!

There's a lake, plenty of room in the park to have a picnic, well maintained outhouses, a mexican food truck, plenty of gazebos, there were park services workers selling small treats and cool things and giving away eclipse glasses!

After, the traffic was insane, but that's an eclipse for you.

There was a kind guy on a four wheeler who asked for our garage! It is a great place, very well taken care of.

Very beautiful nature walk, kids have a play area and it looks like a brand new BMX kids Trail which is really neat. We walked around the little Lake took some pictures lots of BlackBerry bushes around the trails. Great place to walk. Not busy at all.

Great place to fish!!! Its allowed year around and is no charge. Nice boat ramp and several parking spots for boat trailers. I rarely see more than one or two boats. Kids dont need fishing licenses but adults still do.

Love this park! Frequently! Needs our help to protect it from vandalism...why people want to tear things up in a place made for their enjoyment is beyond me! Have to watch for fishing line with a fishing hook if your walking York dog...or children...beautiful park...for peace and relaxation.

A great little park particularly convenient for a little rest stop off the highway. Spacious with a wide concrete walking trail. Fishing and non motor watercraft allowed on the lake.

Nice little park. Fishing pond with a wide cement walking path all the way around the pond. Even a nice playground and picnic shelters.

This is a nice little park in Terre Haute. It has a small lake stocked for fishing, a dock, gazebos, a play ground, bike ramps/ trail, cemented walking trail around the whole lake. Beautiful at sunset.

Enjoyed this little park with my dog. The fishing pond is really nice to let ur dog swim in or go fishing. Found a TH rock too.

Great park for a walk / jog with paved path all the way around.

The park just offered me one of the best days of my life. Had a four year old catch 3 fish in under an hour, sat with his bare feet in the water and even made a friend who showed him her catfish she had caught.

The park seems to get more and more beautiful every time I go there. Definitely making some exceptional memories there.

There are always people fishing, walking or reading around the lake.

Nice area. Nice play area for kids. Has plenty of picnic areas. Can fish here year round. Has a bathroom and a water fountain. Also has a lending library. Has a boat ramp. Pet friendly.

Really nice are for walking, running, walking the dog, biking, fishing, kayaking, etc... Small lake, playground area, gazebo, dock, boat ramp, plenty of seating, a little mountain bike course, really nicely done.

2 laps around the lake made for a perfect peaceful walk. Playground and picnic areas looked nice. There are restrooms, but we didn't use so can't really comment on cleanliness of them. There are dog poop bags available around the area, hopefully people will use them and keep the area nice and clean.

This is a beautiful park where you can let your kids play, fish or have a picnic. It's very peaceful.
