Jay's Service, Tire & Alignment

I was in town for a few days short stay and knew I was having tire issues. I called Jay's to make sure they could get me in to take a look. I stopped in, they diagnosed the issue, ordered what was needed and made an appointment for installation the next day. The process was smooth, very friendly and couldn't have gone better. If you want a small local business, honest and reasonably priced work, this is your place! Jay and his team were a pleasure to work with and if I'm in town again and have mechanical issues, I know I can trust Jay's to get the job done-I highly recommend them

Friendly, fast, affordable, and convenient. I love the text communications with updates and the key drop option for after-hours drop-off. Our paperwork included terrific details about the service we received as well as other things to be watching on our vehicle. We will definitely return to Jay's the next time we need service on a vehicle.

I work in the automotive industry and have multiple ASE certifications myself, as well as service vehicles on the side for people. Jay's is one of the few auto shops in this area that I have literally never heard anything negative about. They are a top notch facility with knowledgeable workers, and keep a clean service bay. Some people say they can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. If people ask where to take their vehicle to get the job done right the first time, I steer them to Jay's.

Highly recommended. They tell you what needs done now, what can wait, & what you don't need to worry about. You may have to wait but they are thorough and honest. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

My truck was running rough for a couple months, then wouldn't even start. I had it towed to Jay's Service. They diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly. All it needed was a new distributor cap and rotor. Great service, reasonable prices. I will be taking my truck here for any future repairs.

Excellent service. My battery was dead. Jay came to my home, charged the battery and drove it to the shop where he tested the battery and replaced it, after calling me with the results. He also checked the oil and fluid levels. He then drove the car back to my home. I am very satisfied with the quality service. I highly recommend JAYS Service Center.

They are absolutely awesome here. Very polite and fair. They even noticed my veteran plates and offered me a discount. My work now sends our fleet there for servicing.

Jay has been taking care of our cars for over 7 years. He and his crew always seem to go the extra mile to make sure that your car is in good running order. He does not treat me like an airhead because I am female. Recently I had to get the oil changed while out of state and they commented that my car had been very well maintained and that whoever my mechanic was he was doing a good job. It is a good feeling to know that when something unexpected goes out on the car that I can take it to Jay's and know that he will be honest about the problem and charge a fair price.

I’ve been taking my older model vehicle to Jay’s Service Center for a few years now and it’s the only place I will take it. I’ve gotten quality repairs with quality parts every visit. Jay’s also has a shuttle vehicle if needed and has even dropped off my vehicle at my home. Excellent customer service from beginning to end!

My first experience was a couple years ago, my transmission was acting up so I asked around where to take it and a good friend of mine said he only trusted Jay's in Terre Haute. I went there, got my transmission fixed. When he called for me to come pick it up he mentioned that it had a little play in the shifter and he was not going to let it go without making sure it was properly fixed. Turns out he had to make a special part, one not manufactured anywhere, and I had my car back within a week. I am now taking my car in there next Monday. The quality is great, the people are nice, the price is right, and they truly care about their reputation and others. I'll never go anywhere else.

I was traveling from Indianapolis with work and needed some service preformed on my Honda Ridgeline. I found Jay’s via Google and called to confirm if they could work on my car. I had a very positive and satisfying experience from the first phone call to picking my vehicle up in the late afternoon the same day. This is a great family owned and operated business that truly cares about their customers. Jay sees the long term benefits of treating people right. I would feel confident sending my mother, sister or wife to Jay, knowing they would not be paying for parts, services, or labor they do not need.

I truly won’t trust anyone else with my car!

Dropped my car off, expecting to have a total exhaust system replacement recommendation. Instead, I got an estimate for $55, with the final bill only being $50 and change...and the car sounds like normal again! The customer service was very professional and timely.

Being a college student far from home, makes it difficult to get to my 4 generation trusted family mechanic when I have an emergency with my car. However when I went to Jays I received the same family hospitality that I get at home. Jay and his staff went up and beyond to get my car in perfect working order! Feeling like I have a trusted mechanic so far from home gives me great confidence and security. When Im in Terre Haute I will always use his services!

Dropped off my yute for Jay to repair on Monday he did the inspection and give me a quote and worked around my schedule so I could drive to work on Tuesday and then dropped off Tuesday night and finish the quote on other repairs on Wednesday very happy with the repair in the way that Jay worked around my schedule

Jay does ALL the work on my vehicles, and it is always done right the first time. Love the office staff, too! They go out of the way to be helpful and kind.
