Dobbs Park

Great place to let the kids relax and run around and play on the playground equipment. We looked at geece on the pond. Some people were fishing. Nice picnic area. Has some trails, perfect for a 5 and 6 year old. Does have a nature Center. Check out all the pictures.

Great place to walk with ur dog and fish. This place has several hiking trails, a playground, and a big fishing pond. We have gone here multiple times and have not encountered many people.

Great park, take your kids because they will enjoy the museum and nature center.

I really like the book trail. It was a fun surprise for our 2 year old.

Nice and clean, peaceful place for fishing or having picnic. The geese walking across the geese walk. Overall it's just a really nice park to go to. Deers waking around the playground.

The trails are so calming, the nature center is awesome (I got to mess with bones, get a cast of a possum paw, and see turtles/toads/critters native to Indiana), plus the Native American museum has a bunch of interesting facts. All free and worth a stop in.

Great park! We stopped for lunch on our cross country road trip and it was perfect. The museum and nature center were a special treat for my six kids!

One of our very favorite parks. The little nature center with fun creatures (my kids especially love the turtles and snakes) and I love the bird and critter watching area. The Native American Museum is always nice for a short educational trip. The nice little trail system has a good variety of length trails for hiking. We like that they have a few short trails that are perfect for smaller kiddos. The playground can get a little muddy and there's not a lot of nice seating near the playground, but it's a great variety of equipment and my kids favorite park. We like that there's a big grassy area between the parking lot and playground, which is very helpful if you have a runner. 😜 And it's much shadier and less crowded than some of the other area parks.

Overall it's the perfect park if you want to have a nice day outing with a variety of activities as a family or solo.

A group of us had our yearly picnic. It was a beautiful, warm evening . There was a constant breeze though.

Vigo county parks are under rated! A wonderful place to bring the kids, the dog or just go it alone. Trails, fishing and playgrounds .

Beautiful park, hard to find trails without a map.

Loved it, lots of things to do. Native American museum, nature center, trails, native American garden. The grounds are kept clean, great place to take the family.

Very nice park. I like that the play ground is far from traffic. Just make sure theres toilet paper in the bathroom ..lol

It's a rather small park but tucked away near the back is a nature exhibit with an adorable fat cat that loves everyone
