Pekin Park

We used the community building to have a celebration of life for my son that recently passed away. We prepared his favorite meal. The kitchen is very large with lots of buffet length counter space. We were able to feed an entire herd of teenagers. To celebrate my son's life with his friends we also released balloons and it was very nice day. if my son was here I believe he would have been very proud of the celebration. Everything was tidy when we got there and the park was as well. the kids played some basketball and things while they waited for the food to be prepared. it was just a very nice day at the Pekin Park as most days there are, just wish we could have spent it with our son as well as his friends.

Went when there wasn't anything going on, just the park, and the kids had a great time.

It was wonderful. We had an annual Thanksgiving dinner with the whole family, and it was wonderful. They have GREAT facilities, and accommodate us all. Thank you to the Park for making it such a nice environment for everyone to enjoy themselves.

Nice little park with the longest running Fourth of July celebration in the nation. Great fireworks show. We were able to watch from so close we could feel the fireworks explode. We will definitely come back.

Love it because it's a nice little quiet park to bring the keys DS and relax and have fun.

We have our family reunion here every year...they have the playground for the kids..basketball court for the older kids...nice air conditioned building for the elders....a nice get together place

Been going there since I was a kid. Nice what they've done with the playground. It's awesome.

The vandalism each year is always comical. Teenagers will never change am I right? 🤣

Fireworks didn't disappoint like always. Just a good time in a wonderful small town.

Love going to Pekin 4th of July parade

It's a nice peaceful place to go and the 4th of July celebrations are top notch

Clean, kept up and quiet

Lots of play equipment can rent building that is present on site for family get together, birthday parties, and etc

Need better rides but parade and food was awesome
