Tom (the owner) has got to be one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. All around good, honest, and hard working. He set me up with a brand new bow. He does a good job making you feel at home. Full of knowledge and experience. He won’t try to sell you something that you don’t want or need.

Fixed it (when I broke it) and never nickel and dime me for any of it. He made sure I was confident in my set up shooting bullet holes in paper before I left. He not only set up and leveled my sight but took the time to show me how to level it on my own. I would recommend new shooters and old. I don’t know of a better shop or if there will be.

The best place to go I'm an amateur when it comes to archery but he helped set my boys up with bows last year, we just went back for quick release loops and sights and he took the time to get everything set just right. I appreciate the help.

Tom was referred to me by a friend who lives in Indiana. My sight malfunctioned on the 3rd day of a 7 day rut hunt trip in west central Indiana. Tom was kind enough to open his shop for me, and fix the issue for me. I’ll recommend him to anyone. I live in Texas, but will wait to buy my next bow and accessories for when I’m in the area again. Great service and a general good dude.

These are some of the greatest people I have ever met... I brought my bow, during rut, which of course his wife stated I may not get it back for two weeks because he left to hunt for those weeks...totally understandable..... To my surprise I got a call 2 days later my bow being ready to go. I could not have been more stoked. Give this lovely family your money, not many business owners like this anymore, I am thankful for you.

Lonesome Elk is the absolute best and the atmosphere is priceless. I drove almost 2 hours each way just to get the experience of this shop. Owner is extremely knowledgeable and funny! You will be smiling the whole time you’re in there. The owner stayed well past closing to make sure I was set up and happy with my bow.

Tom is a Jedi master with setting up a bow, simply put. Don't waste your time going anywhere else if you're in the area. He's got most stuff you're already looking for and will try to get it if he doesn't, plus he's very, very fair with his prices. The best part is he's been doing this for a while and will tell you how it is, so you're not buying into all the archery/bowhunting snake oil that's out there. Support a local business and get tuned up!
