Gingersnaps Coffeehouse & Cafe

I have ordered from Gingersnaps a few times on DoorDash but I went in person today and I had the best experience! The owner knew about my gluten/dairy allergy and was so accommodating! She brought me a gluten free roll to try and it was absolutely amazing. The service is amazing and so is the food. I will definitely keep going back!

I have nothing but wonderful reviews! I'm from out of a town and I always try to support local places everywhere I go and this little place was worth it! The salad was huge and very fresh! My latte was great and the barista added a little extra honey and chocolate and it was amazing! The staff was wonderful and very friendly! I'm here for another week and will definitely be going back!

This is a wonderful place to stop in for a bite, flavored tea, frappe, smoothie, and much more.
Located in the back of the Open Door, it has a very comfortable atmosphere. Great place to meet your friends and stay as long as you want. Lots of seating.
Very friendly staff and, if you come a few times, they recognize you and know your name.
Serving sandwiches, soups, salads, their chicken salad on a croissant and tomato basil soup is everyone's favorite. But there is a special everyday, such as noodles and mashed potatoes, Beef Manhatten, pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese.
There is also a reward program. Just give your phone number and they track your visits and then you are eligible for a free meal.
They cater to businesses or a personal party, they have a drive thru window where you can order and pick up, and you can call ahead and they will have your meal ready and waiting for you.
Do not pass this small restaurant by. It is a treat.

The Turkey pesto sandwich, even with out the bacon, was TO DIE FOR!!! All of the flavors, texture, freshness were amazing and made my lunch delightful. The Peach Tea was also great. I was in town on an errand and will definately return for this sandwich.

Roasted pork melt and tomato basil soup were good…..the Reese’s Frappe coffee was excellent!!! Absolutely will get again.

Great customer service. Wife had a
white chocolate mocha and I had a regular coffee which was made perfect and tasted great. I like that the coffee shop is in a Christian book store.

One of the best locally-owned cafes in Terre Haute! All the staff is genuine and very friendly. I have loved everything I have tried here, and the atmosphere is very inviting. It is a nice spot to sit and get things done or read a book. They have a wide variety of sandwiches with new soups each day. They also make lattes, frappes, hot/iced coffee, and a variety of teas.

My daughter took me here for lunch and it was very enjoyable. Food was delicious and filling. Nice quiet atmosphere!

The Pepperjack Pesto sandwich is so delicious! My favorite thing about this place though is the atmosphere and the joyful staff. They always make me smile and brighten my day.

Excellent food, wonderful service. I got their chicken salad (HIGHLY recommend) and a Rueben along with a cheddar broccoli soup that my bride and I shared. It was all wonderful.

My wife and I ordered thru GH and were pleasantly surprised on how good there sandwiches are. We had the pork pesto, and the turkey pesto both were delicious but we preferred the pork pesto. This was our first experience eating from Gingersnaps and it was through a delivery service and still enjoyed everything so this won't be our last. Great job.

This is one of the best parts about visiting Open Door besides Bibles. My wife and son have gluten allergies and they have the lowest upgrade charge ever! They also have these gluten free chocolate chips that are better than regular!!! The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff is friendly. We will definitely keep coming

I went here for lunch and had the grilled Cuban with the house chips. The Cuban was great, Gingersnaps actually makes a true Cuban and doesn't ruin it with mayonnaise or tomatoes. It had the perfect balance of ingredients of ham, pork, cheese, mustard, and a pickle relish. And the house chips were delicious, I was expecting plain chips but they've got a yummy seasoning which was delightful. The staff was very friendly. There's not a huge amount of seating but there are two separate seating areas which is nice. I would definitely recommend trying out Gingersnaps!

It is a little hard to find (it's actually located INSIDE of a Christian bookstore), but it is SO worth finding ! The soups & sandwiches are awesome AND a great value. You definitely get your money's worth & do not leave hungry. Lots of unique & specialty items to try as well, like the "house" chips & daily tea blends. Plus the atmosphere is extremely clean & friendly. What's NOT to like ?

Best cafe in Terre Haute. Fresh food and wonderful staff. Everything is made from scratch. No doctored up store bought stuff here.

I love this place! I go most Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings and get my white chocolate Mocha! Sometimes even a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich!!!❤ My favorite!

I ordered through Grubhub and they didn't send a driver so a woman from gingersnaps delivered it for them. Great service, kind people!😄

Such a kind and generous owner! Thank you for your support of our efforts to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. The bake sale at Westminster Village was a huge success and residents LOVED the gingersnap cookies.
