First time eating here and it’s truly great food. The service is great as well. The waitress is a lot of fun and is really good with her job. Nice place itself I’ll definitely be coming back.

A great hidden gem for authentic Chinese food. (They also have the standard Chinese American fare). The exterior of the building is a bit rough but definitely don't let that discourage you! It's much nicer inside. Also, this place is local, family run.

Appetizer was green onion pancake and they are so crisp, flaky and savory. It may remind you of Indian naan. Our entrees came with soup and rice with the options of hot and sour, wonton or egg drop soup and fried rice or white rice.

We ordered the braised eggplant and the spicy pork belly. The eggplant was tender and in a sweet glaze. It went so well with white rice and was not oily. The pork belly had a good kick to it with red peppers and jalapenos. The meat was cut thinly like bacon, which was good so it wasn't too greasy or heavy in the way that pork belly can get.

The interior has table and booth seating options. The larger tables have lazy susans.

1st time being here and service and food were amazing. Will definitely be coming here more often for dinner. Love the variety of food choices and the quality of each item.

The sweet tea is so good! It has a floral tea base that surprises and is just delightful. I had a group of 3 everyone had different things and there was not a single thing that disappointed. The last 2 pages of the menu are ♡♡♡.

I go weekly, have never had a reorder of any item and never had anything I didn't like...

An absolute gem in our city. They have the best crab rangoon I've ever had. And their dry pots are too die for!

I was so happy to find this place! The inside is so pretty and the service is very helpful and kind. I had the Mao’s Braised Pork and didn’t even get a picture because I ate it so fast! I 100% recommend and as a local I’m disappointed in myself that it took me so long to give this a try. This will be a new go to.

Loved this place. Food was really tasty and the staffs were sweetest. Sizzling beef short rib was delicious, so was their bubble tea.

Delicious food, cant make a mistake ordering. THE BEST crab Rangoon i have EVER had, triangle shaped and fried to perfection. Sweet and crunchy, just the perfect texture and flavor.
Everything was so flavorful, well cooked, just amazing. The woman at the front of the house was so gracious, and friendly. We had pad sew ew, sweet and sour chicken, and the pepper chicken. Each meal came with soup, the broth of the wonton soup was so full and meaty flavor.
We also got the honey dew bubble tea, that was sweet and a hit with the kids.

Wow!! One of the best Asian restaurants I’ve been too. They have Thai and Chinese food, hot pot, dry pot and allot more! The menu is massive,, the lunch menu is huge as well and all very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the waitress advised us on items we should try and other that were for more adventurous spirits! The food came out faster than any restaurant I’ve been too, we have just finished eating and haven’t even been here 20 minutes. I very highly recommend Eastern House. Come see for yourself.

Such a great place for authentic food! The crab rangoons are delicious as are the spring rolls. The wonton soup is perfect! We got the sesame chicken and general tso chicken and they were amazing as well!

We came here for a college visit and found this gem! The outside of the restaurant looks like a American Chinese food but this is authentic!! We came here for lunch and dinner and all dishes are delicious!! More importantly, we didn’t feel thirsty or drowsy after the meal so not much msg in the food! Very friendly owner! Sorry didn’t take pictures of the food because we finished all fast!

Great food with an extensive menu covering several distinct Asian cuisines. The hot pot dishes are delicious and my wife always gets chicken in old lady sauce. The coconut rice is spot on.

This restaurant has a beautiful and friendly environment with very delicious food. I strongly recommend visiting if you haven't eaten here before!

me and my auntie eat here all the time. it's our go-to for chinese food. staff are friendly and chatty, and the food is delicious and served in huge portions. can be expensive, but with the quality and amount you're getting your money's worth. restaurant itself is very clean and nicely decorated despite the exterior being a little bland. also is family owned, so worth supporting. would recommend for any occasion

We go here regularly and the food is consistently fantastic. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared and seasoned, and friendly service. When in Terre Haute, do yourself a favor and eat here!

Not as flavorful as some of the other boba's I've tried. But to my knowledge this is the only place in terre haute you can get boba. 😁😁
