We eat here every time we are in town and have always had great experiences. Very fast service and delicious food. Flavorful and not too heavy with butter. Nice atmosphere with cute light fixtures. I love how they have expanded their mercantile area. So many good snacks and spices. I bought my very favorite comb there on a visit last fall. Highly recommended!

Went for date night, food is fantastic! Quick, friendly service. The store inside has some really good deals and quality Indian finds. By far my favorite place in town.

Delicious food, I had the chicken curry with rice. I plan to go again and take some pictures. I love their Turkish delight that I thankfully saw available at check out on the shelves. Lots of interesting finds as well and fresh produce etc.

I'm in Terre Haute for 10 days and trying out most of the restaurants in town. This is my favorite Indian/Punjabi restaurant. My food was absolutely delicious. My food was temperature hot and spicy as i wanted. Service was good ! I will be visiting here again !

The absolute BEST butter chicken I’ve ever had. I’ve tried many Indian Cuisines and nothing has ever compared to Taj Mahal. It’s so creamy, flavorful, and you can adjust how spicy you want it 1-6, I usually get 4. AMAZING!!!

Sitting here right now with husband and dad... Been wanting to come here for awhile now so happy I finally got the chance... Food is awesome I had the Chicken curry , my husband the lamb and shrimp curry and my dad the lamb korma... I'm going to get my husband's next time, lol...

This was our first time eating here. The service was quick and friendly! Our server was happy to give each of us suggestions after talking a bit with us. Suggestions were spot on! We all loved our lunch and spice level. I cannot wait to go back. We ordered more Garlic Naan to go. :)

One of the best restaurants in Terre Haute hands down. I crave the butter chicken, lamb curry, and tiki masala. The naan bread is a must! The food is consistently good and the staff is always nice and accommodating inside. Will be back for the rest of my life!

Our food was exceptional!! Highly suggest the Buffett,, since I didn't know what the menu items were very well,,, I tried lots of fun and tasty items on the clean and fresh buffet.

Eat here if you are anywhere close to Terre Haute. I assure you this place is one of the few Indian restaurants in US that actually serve good authentic Indian food. We stopped here on our way back from Chicago and I am glad I did. Family run restaurant, courteous staff, great food and moderately priced. They also serve buffet all 7 days a week. I will return for sure whenever I can.

I ordered the chicken biryani about ten minutes before closing and the flavor didn’t disappoint. Chunks of chicken tasted delicious and every spoonful of rice had just as much flavor as the spoonful I had prior.

It's so delicious! Had the chicken curry and garlic naan and I was not disappointed. The employees were also very nice.

Great food to go, spice at the level you prefer. I brought home chicken Tikka masala, spice level 5 to have later. It was very good and worth waiting for. The aroma - incredible. The staff are friendly, the service is good and speedy. I had never been to Terre Haute before, so it was a nice welcome to a new town. Thank you!

First time I've had Indian Food in 8 years and this is my second time to Taj Mahal! I went there 8 years ago as well! Tonight was date night and we chose here!! We have NO REGRETS!! SO GOOD!! Get anything Lamb!!! Best I've had!!

Sampled every dish from the lunch buffet, and litterally EVERYTHING was delicious and well spiced! This will definitely be my family's go-to whenever we're in the area.

My friend and I travel over an hour to come and eat at this restaurant. The lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, veggie samosas, and paneer pakora are must haves.
