OMG, we visited terre haute for my graduation and went here for lunch. The food is amazing, the place is neat and the service is great

Great experience and the food was delicious, the seating along the left side of the restaurant was a bit odd, the tables were too close together especially if you're sitting next to someone you don't know. My top shelf margarita was very good.

A nice find amongst the sea of generic Mexican American restaurants. The salsa was above average, service was great on the Saturday afternoon we visited. I had the taco plate and the wife had lunch chimichanga.

I ordered the Fajita Tequilas with steak, chicken, and shrimp served with rice & beans. The meat was seasoned to perfection and the vegetables were noticeably fresh. The chips are light and the salsa is mild and smooth.
The prices are affordable. Staff was friendly and quick. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant in Terre Haute!

I usually don’t crave Mexican cuisine if I’m not outside my home state but once and a while there are exceptions! Luckily when researching a place, Taco Tequila’s was right near my hotel with a brisk walk. Taco Tequila isn’t entirely a huge restaurant, but they do draw in a decent crowd so if you are a bigger party you might have to wait. Arriving, I was seated almost promptly and was given a menu, water, and chips with dip to start. I wouldn’t say I’ve tried everything but everything I’ve tried has been quite enjoyable. The tacos are double the tortilla with nicely marinated meats, the fajitas are sizzling hot and fulfilling, and the fried Mexican ice cream packs a crunch! The people are nice, and the atmosphere isn’t stuffy, something I personally enjoy in a smaller space. They do serve alcohol with a variety. I usually get a whiskey, but I have tried their margaritas and pina coladas which are good too, just don’t give yourself a brain freeze! I’ve already been here more than once and when I’m in town I’ll probably come back for a quick taco fix. If you’re from the area you’ve most likely have tried it but if you haven’t, give it a shot!

Watermelon margarita, house margarita, a burrito the size of a newborn and chips and salsa. Everything was DELICIOUS! We stopped here on our way through town. It was so good that we stopped by on our way back home a few days later! Highly recommend! Amazing staff!!

Atmosphere is great! Drinks are on point 🔥🔥 and the food was delicious!! We got the Birria Street Tacos and the El Macho Burrito.

I love this place! This right here is amazing & one of my favorites on their menu. Delicious refried beans & cheese w/ tasty rice. Crisp & crunchy fresh lettuce & fresh tomatoes. Wonderful combination with juicy, tender chicken smothered and wrapped, inside a hot and steamy corn tortilla. So yummy! I absolutely love their steak street tacos as well! They are amazing! Especially topped with salsa or green/hot sauce.

I visited this place several times during my time working atTerre Haute.
Far from my country it was nice to find a place to eat tacos and drink margaritas. Very nice environment and the owner and staff are very friendly.

I hope to come back one day.

We found this place as we were hunting for food after a quick visit to Terre Haute, IN. The food came in a large amount. The drink is fine. My partner didn’t finish his tortilla as it was SO big and he kept the leftover for lunch the following day.

A strong 5 starts for Taco Tequilas! The food was excellent. Service was quick and friendly and they had some super good hot sauce at the tables. Absolutely will be back here. My Carne Asada was so tasty as was my chicken enchilada. I left full. And, the margaritas are huge!!

Tried the seafood fajita in a pineapple for the first time and it was excellent! Great service too. They got our entire order right the first time and we got our food promptly after ordering. Everything was hot and the chips were crispy.

Best restaurant salsa I've ever had. Steak chimichanga was excellent, super fast food delivery to our table.

We love Tacos & Tequila! We stop every time we are in Terre Haute. The food is great every time. We often ask them to expand to Chicagoland.

I love this place! This place is fantastic! I've probably only had to wait for a seat twice, and both times it was for less than ten minutes. The entire staff is so nice and the service is super quick. Every item I have ordered on the menu has been amazing too. I always bring my friends and family here to eat whenever they come to town to visit.
