Store is well organized. Prices are fair, not crazy-cheap. Hoarders looking for a bargain will be disappointed. For everyone else, this is a better shopping experience than meeting up with some stranger off Facebook Marketplace.

Fun place to look for good prices and some unusual items. They sell all things University and IU from retired desks and football uniforms to last year's lost and found. Every time we go there it is a new adventure.

Great deals. We have bought a few computers and various other things here. Always good quality.

This place is amazing! I have never been disappointed by a visit. Need a desk? They've got it. Need a bulletin board? They've got it. Gym shoes? Check. Books? Check. Mirrors? Yeah. And chairs?! Oh my, yes! If you haven't visited, stop reading my nonsense and get over there.

Always worth a look! I've found some really interesting books and CDs here! Also a great place to get a cheap, powerful workstation PC as well as other computer and electronics parts. They regularly have different kinds of furniture, décor, dishwares, office chairs, filing cabinets, science equipment, bicycles, and plenty of other things! And for great prices!

I am not a "shopper" meaning that I buy when I need ... I don't meander around looking at stuff I didn't plan on buying when I decided to walk in. I want to get in and out as fast as possible. The exception is when the IU Surplus Store. The deals are unbelievable and since the inventory is always changing, I feel compelled to take more time to visit every few weeks & look around even if I'm not looking for anything specific.

The store has helped me out more times than I can even count. The customer service is fantastic, the customer text and back are more than willing to come up front and explain everything that you need to know and I cannot say enough about the management. It is a fantastic store and I recommend it to anyone.

Interesting variety of things for sale. We have found some real bargains there, but stear clear of the mystery boxes. Picked one up today that was labeled tools but was just junk.

Love them! Great deals on used furniture, some reasonable deals on electronics if you shop well. Many misc items if you enjoy hunting for unusual flea market finds or are looking for iu memorabilia.

Perfect place if you need something sturdy but cheap: have instituional pieces from dorm dining rooms and lounges much of the time.

Be prepared with a credit or debit card! No other form of payment accepted.

Over the many years I've shopped here and the thousands of dollars I've spent, there have been many upsetting things that have happened to me, but that's really nothing compared to the number amazing deals I've gotten here. I love it!

Just wonderful! Found what we were looking for in great condition. The staff very friendly and helpful! Look forward to shopping there again.

I've been going to surplus stores since I was a kid.

Most recently, I was looking for a short bookshelf and ended up finding a two-shelver with a glass front that was perfect.

For around $40, I carted it out to the car (using one of their handy carts) and managed to wangle it into the backseat of my compact.

Great prices on surplus items from the campus. Can only use a debit/credit card. No cash. Plenty of electronics and furniture overstock that is great quality. Free popcorn as well!

Was interesting. I liked it. Lots of cabinets, desks, etc with "character ", which I Iike. Will need to go back with my truck now that I know what they have.

TIm is always very helpful, as are all the employees. Amazing prices, you just have to follow them online, and you'll get the best days to shop!
