I was traveling from Michigan to Indianapolis and was feeling a little sleep and hungry so I took the first exit I found. Somehow I stumbled across the Evergreen Eatery and how lucky I was!

Great little spot on the corner in Rochester Indiana. Britany was my server, I hope I spelled it right! Homemade Blue Cheese dressing on my salad was very light and subtle, unique for blue cheese dressing… fantastic! Steak cooked from oder was tender and delicious. Ordered desert to go so no pictures of that, chocolate tier cake!!! Hope it makes it home and not a mess in the car. Highly recommend and will be back. Quick trip off of US-31

Great food and dessert with daily specials. Atmosphere is historic modern in downtown Rochester IN. The staff are friendly and the food comes to you at a comfortable pace.

Food was excellent Karia was very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed but upscale. We enjoyed our meals and dessert was outta this world! Glad we stumbled on this gem while out for a drive!

Decor was lovely, atmosphere was great, and the people were nice, friendly and attentive. If you have the money it's a great date night!

Has two of the featured items and they were delicious. The chocolate cake is amazing and highly recommend!!!!! 7 layers of heaven. It took me 2 days ri finish it but every bite was amazing. The staff was great. I believe our server’s name was Carrie-a. She was training someone while hosting and serving and didn’t miss a beat. The atmosphere is laid back and I would go back if I’m in the area again.

My husband and I are traveling 1200 miles by bicycle and stopped here for lunch. We love everything about this place starting with the food. We enjoyed delicious salads with very fresh vegetables. The atmosphere was fun and the service was great. We enjoyed meeting the lovely owner and appreciate the staff helping us find a place to park our bikes. Hope to be back someday. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was amazing. Huge pancakes, home made biscuits and gravy, and the eggs Benedict is awesome. Can’t wait to return for another breakfast or for dinner. I would recommend for everyone to try this place at least once, it’s great.

We had a fantastic time there. The food was amazingly delicious and the portions were huge. The cost was reasonably priced and the atmosphere and waitresses were very good. We will be going back very soon.

My wife and I were passing through and ordered takeout for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were splendid. My wife loved her french toast. Certainly a favorite breakfast spot that we'll be sure to frequent in passing! The portions seemed a bit small but I'll just keep in mind to order more next time 😁

Drove through a snow storm. Imagining what the food is like when it is fresh and hot. Even when cooled and cold it is inevitably the best rueben I have ever had. I am not even done eating my sandwich because I had to come on here and write a review. The staff was so welcoming and positive. They really catered to my needs and helped someone who had a ‘few’ to many. One of the employees called a relative to come and take the guy home. Talk about caring and compassion. That same person also ran my sauce cups out to the car because they were some how not placed in the bag. I wouldn’t have complained If they weren’t. I can’t wait to come back and try their sushi specials. This place literally made my day and a first rememberable experience! I highly recommend!!!!!

This is my favorite place to come when I’m in Rochester and my grandma loves it too. I live in Indy so prices seem modest to me for the high quality of the food and service. The service isn’t super quick but that’s ok because Grandma likes to sip her tea and visit with me! Also I always look forward to the lobster/seafood bisque when they have it too!

This was my first time eating here and I definitely will be back. I was shown to a seat immediately. Our waitress was very attentive. The menu had plenty of options. The food was served swiftly and was simply mouthwatering. I highly recommend this place!
