Honestly the most unwilling to help "assistance office" you could ask about! When someone and or their children have been sick on and off for 3 months they could care less. So if your utilities are more than 60 days behind they refuse to help until you pay those past dues..... Even though that's why you're there because you don't have money to pay your utilities. And when asked if this is a statewide rule the response was no. So instead of saying "we can pay the current and up to 60 days past due to help but you will have to still make payment for the older bills but this will help just to get you out of disconnect" they refuse any help until you use the money you don't have to save your self! It's despicable!

I think it's pretty pathetic that they cannot offer assistance for someone grieving of a death in the family remember that lives in this Township. I am the only living sibling and being out of town trying to make arrangements with the funeral home came back with my account having insufficient funds toupee and Township trustee's office so they can't help. If I could I'd give it a half a star
