Great place highly recommend the wife and I and our kids and her parents and a few others come here to eat every Monday. The foods always great the staff are the best all around. You won’t find a better place to eat in this town and the place is reasonably priced.
Highly recommended Five stars just doesn’t do a justice for their great service and food.

Undeniably one of the best local restaurants around! This restaurant is located on the north west side of Huntington nestled among some local factories. The Country Post has been a staple for more than 30 years.
From the moment you walk in and are greeted, you know this will be an experience you will never forget. The atmosphere is laid back, but the waitresses are very attentive to your every need. They know what the customers want before you even have to ask. The service is impeccable!
You want daily specials, they have it! Breakfast, try a Heartattack on a plate; Salads, check; tenderloins, check; soups they have that too! Don't forget to save room for dessert. They have the best Black Forest Cherry Cheesecake and a Banana Split Lasagna that is to die for.
I would give 10 stars for the dessert presentation alone, and another 10 for the staff!
This place knows how to make you feel welcome!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Mom and Pop feeling, great menu, great prices, large servings like you would make for yourself at home, everything tastes great! The service is awesome! We had Elena for our server this time, she was so sweet caring and thoughtful! Great place, highly recommend!

I just had a lovely dinner at this cute, local place. Lots of fun signs to read. Good, hearty food at reasonable prices. Ashley G. was one of the best servers I've ever had. She was bubbly, positive and attentive. I'll happily enjoy another meal here when I'm in Huntington, Ind.

Great staff,great restraunt,great food,great atmosphere, amazing cooks,amazing everything.The beef Manhatten is the best I have ever had. Man oh man was that good. That roast beef was so thin n soft. Lol I was in heaven. Didn't even have to use a knife,the fork just crumbled it. My husband said his burger n frys were amazing. Thick juicy burger. Didn't even have to salt the fry's.
We went out for our 10th year anniversary to lunch. The Country Post in Huntington is so amazing. Our waitress has been there for many many years and she was so sweet and on top of everything even little extra things,she calls herself "R", Best waitress we have ever had n we have had lots of them. Their food n service is out of this world. One of the top 4 best places we have ever eatin at. The food is all home made. Everything was amazing n that home made White mac n cheese n creamy coleslaw,man oh man. You get a lot of food. Deff a good anniversary meal. 🥰🥰🙃🤤🤤It's so homey vibes to. Our favorite place to go. The hot coco was amazing,the only place I have ever seen do refills on hot coco.

The food is delicious and comes out quicker than you would expect. The service is warm and friendly. The food is insanely affordable. Family had 4 dinner meals and a slice of pie for 45$.

Great restaurant with nice sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, wraps and salads with comparatively cheaper price.Has great bar which is too good to watch games.

It was a Monday afternoon and I found decent crowd for the start of the week.

I had the best 12oz prime rib I've had in 30 years. I'm not kidding.. This is a simple down to earth place but don't let appearances fool you. The baked potato;perfect. The horseradish sauce,well I'd eat that S#@% on anything. My friend had the perfectly fried Pollock all you can eat. Soooo good. The tarter was perfect. The fries perfectly crisp and delicious dipped in the horseradish sauce. I couldn't have asked for a better meal. Oh yeah the pea salad was outstanding. They also have waffle fries that are so beautifully fried I just cant wait to go back and try those. The country post is a must on Saturday but I'm guessing any day of the week is gonna be great.
So here's an update: All you can eat fish is awesome. Keep up the good work yall.

Good food, Waitress was prompt & polite, we were there mid afternoon on a Saturday so it was quiet and slow… but food was fresh and hot! We got the 4 piece broaster chicken and it was great!

This diner is a hidden jem. The waitress was great. The food was homemade and delicious 😋

The food was fresh and yummy. The server was very friendly. The bill was under$30 for two people including tip. What's not to like?

The Country Post is one of the few places that gets it right every time! Prices are very reasonable and good is great. There's no way you walk away hungry. Highly recommend.

The staff is so friendly and nice. The food is exceptional.
Only downside if the menus have a weird frosted look to them so it is hard to read, but the food is so good I don't even care how the menu looks.
There are signs up saying prices have increased, but for 2 people to each have a meal and drink as well as one dessert I only spent $25.
I look forward to coming here again.

Excellent biscuits and gravy 😀 glad to have found this little country diner. Old school and good service and good food . Highly recommend if you’re craving some good home cooking style food.

First time here Elaina Q. Was on top of the customer service game. Sunday lunch service. BLT & Tenderloin pictured. Turkey club toasted but meat was still chilled.

You get so much food at such a good price, everything was absolutely amazing. Sandwiches are as big as your head! Peach pie was excellent as well!

The Food,and the people at the post along with excellent service as well the atmosphere. Make the post a must on anyone's list! This is an American owned and operated classic eatery! Alway's on top of their Game at the Post.

This is a very nice country café that I personally highly recommend. I’ve got the pork loin sandwich for lunch and it was from a very healthy pig! It was about an inch over the bun most of the way around. I’m glad the pig did not die in vain, and apparently was very happy in his life, the service was top-notch as well. My waitress named Tracy was very attentive and super sweet. I will definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Choices for the whole family. Healthy and unhealthy alike. They got something for everyone.

Our first time at The Country Post, We're happy that we stopped to have dinner here, The Post had this homey atmosphere. Brianna was a smiley & friendly host, that was very welcoming.
My husband and I had the Haddock Fish Dinners, which we say is the Best Fish we've had here in town!, along with the Homemade fries & onions, which reminds me of grandmas home cooking, also had fried mushrooms, macaroni and pea salad... Yum.
Our granddaughter had the BLT with fries and she loved how they piled the bacon on 😁 Thank you for a Wonderful Dinner this evening.
We will back again.
