Love it. Great fast service, and a cozy diner atmosphere. I got the breaded pork sandwich with pickles and onions and corn bites on the side. Perfect. Crisp pork, soft white bun.

The sweet cream pie was like a cross between bread pudding and a snickerdoodle.

I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.

The food was excellent and you won't leave hungry. The apple dumpling was great. Good service. Got to meet the previous owner. Such a nice lady. She's one of a kind. I will be back. Wish I would've came here sooner.

🥧 Nick’s Kitchen in Huntington, Indiana is an awesome destination. 📍 A worthy detour from anywhere within an hour! Seriously. “Come for the tenderloin, stay for the pie” is their message. 🧭 Family owned & operated for several generations.
Food, service & atmosphere are awesome! 🍽 Ticia was helpful, attentive & fun. I’ll be back! I’m keto so took the bun off my tenderloin. No probs.

This is my first time coming to Nick's Kitchen but I've been to Huntington numerous times. When I went in you can sit anywhere now it took a minute to get a drink but they were busy so just be patient or order ahead. I had SCREAMS breakfast and it was SO GOOD!!! Put some hot sauce on it and makes it better. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back again...

I've made a terrible mistake - I waited over 20 years to try this place and I have no idea why. I finally stopped by for brunch and it was outstanding. I had the breakfast bowl and the portions were good and the bottom layer of hash browns were extra crispy. My wife had the tenderloin biscuit and, no surprise, it was also great.

The coffee was weak, but they kept the refills coming until I had the shakes. As a bonus, they have some kind of spicy ketchup at the tables that goes well on anything that rhymes with "tato".

Service was on-point and the prices are very reasonable.

I can't wait to swing by again and try some more things.

We were on our way to Fort Wayne for a family reunion and stopped at Nick's. When I lived in Huntington years ago Nick's was the place to eat. We enjoyed our breakfast. The food and service were wonderful. You cannot beat the atmosphere. I highly recommend Nicks!

This has to be on everyone's bucket list. This was the birthplace of the breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin sandwich didn't disappoint and don't get me started on the pies, sugar cream.... LAWDY! I drove 1.5hrs and I'll do it again. If you ever had the unknown thought you cannot place which is driving you crazy, it's probably because you haven't took the time to go eat here. Stay Classy!

Within an hour 3 people had their picture taken with the Nick's Kitchen sign. That only happens when the place is top knotch.
The tenderloin was crispy yet melted like butter. And there was still a good amount of meat. Some tenderloins from other places is all breading and no meat. Nick's does it right.
The sugar cream pie I can only compare to Wicks. Because of Wicks, I thought I didn't like sugar cream pie. This place changed my opinion of them. At first I could almost feel the sugary gritty goodness. But then, the pie, again melted like butter. Almost comparable to Chess Pie from Memphis (but better!)

Huge portions and friendly atmosphere. We couldn't decide there were so many specials. We ended up with chicken noodles, mashed potatoes, Salisbury steak, fried potatoes, baked beans. We also got the mac & cheese appetizer & it was the highlight of the meal. Also they have coke in a glass bottle which I love!! Definitely glad we stopped, it's a shame we live 2hours away because there's so much more I want to try on the menu. Oh, I almost forgot, they have really good pie flights!

We have been wanting to try this breaded tenderloin for a long time. We have been to so many of the Tenderloin Trail restaurants and saved the best for last. The service was fantastic! This lady was as sweet as the pie. We saw her talking with the regulars and she made them feel right at home. I believe I spoke with the owner at the register and I let her know that I have personally met Mr. Wick from Wick’s Pie and had his delicious Sugar Cream Pie. Nick’s Kitchen’s Sugar Cream Pie was as good as his pie! The breaded tenderloin was fried perfectly. Pounded out to the perfect size. A beautiful golden color with lots of flavor. I got my loaded with lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato and mayo. It was so tender, juicy, not oily. It was amazing. The french fries appeared to be hand cut and fried to crisp tender and not greasy. The spicy ketchup was a great kick. I hear they have great milkshakes but I’ll have to try those next time!! I give it a 5/5 stars!

You cannot get any better when Heather is your server. Excellent customer service and conversation. They put grits on the menu for me a while back, so it goes without saying that breakfast is my favorite thing there. Excellent coffee ☕

I stopped by Nick's Kitchen on my way back to Ohio from Purdue. It wasn't far off my route (2 miles maybe) and it was absolutely worth the minor detour. You won't find a better pork tenderloin sandwich anywhere in the state on Indiana than at Nick's Kitchen. It's crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning and the perfect thickness of pork. The size will not disappoint. I enjoyed trimming off the skirt and eating each piece with either the pickles and some fresh onion or the spicy ketchup at the table. But save some onion and pickles once you've finished off the over flow to tuck between the bun. I opted to forgoe the side with the sandwich in lieu of a slice of fresh pie. Nick's is proud of their homemade Sugar Creme Pie and I couldn't say no. It was the perfect after meal finisher. It had a crunchy topping with a smooth sweet interior that just naturally dissolved in your mouth. If you're passing through the area, swing by for a bite, it will not disappoint.

Amazing Lunch! Worth the detour off I-69. This pork tenderloin sandwich was not just a gimmick, it was delicious! The fries were fresh cut. Won't drive by without stopping.

Great breaded tenderloins and the best sugar cream pie I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and the service has always been fast, regardless of how busy they are.
