Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I came in with 4 of my coworkers. We had Lee as our server and he did outstanding. He got drinks, bread, soup, salad, and food correctly and promptly. Everything came out in the anticipated order and was outstanding. He stayed on top of refills on drinks, bread, soup, and salad. He had a positive attitude, was easy to talk to, and stayed approachable. He seemed to know the perfect amount of time between check-ins. He offered us the anticipated items to enjoy the food to-go. Very much went above and beyond our entire visit. 100% the best server I’ve ever had during an Olive Garden visit and I come about once a month to once a quarter.

Generally I love going to lunch or dinner at Olive Garden, but I tend to not deviate from what I know is good off the menu.
Usually it’s lasagna frittata with Alfredo sauce as the appetizer and it’s amazing honestly. Then I usually have the taste of Italy with salad, I had never tried their soups.
Currently fighting off a cold so we didn’t want to go inside to eat so we called to inquire about their soups which I had heard so much about.
The person who answered took the time to describe all their soups to me and I ended up ordering the chicken gnocchi without the spinach ( sensitively to it sadly). Not only was the staff extremely attentive, nice and informative but the manager made us the soup without the spinach and it was amazing. I absolutely love soups and until that night I had always gotten soups from a different restaurant that’s very close but not nearly as good unfortunately but now that I’ve had olive gardens chicken gnocchi, I will be a forever customer even if it’s just to order the soup!
My only tiny downside was that it wasn’t as full as we thought it would be but it didn’t matter because it was mouth watering good.

We will 100% be back for more amazing chicken gnocchi soup, probably one of the best I’ve ever had.

My wife and I had a great experience at this location today . We were told it was a 45 min wait but got seated in 15 minutes which was awesome. Food was hot and fresh, the appetizers were great and came out fast . Our server Becca was awesome she provided excellent service. Will definitely return to this location

Nothing beats the warm, fragrant, Olive Garden on a cold January night! Our meal was wonderful, and so was all of the staff there. We enjoy the $6 take-home meals you can add on, too, those are really nice.

This is our go to olive garden even tho we live 30 minutes away. Best service. The servers are always on top of everything and we never have to wait for anything. We love coming here. The shrimp scampi is the best. And always order the salad and the zuppa soup.

It's a simple pleasure, but one I'll happily repeat for future lunchtime escapes.

Enjoyed dining here at the counter while our car was being balanced. The lady served us & kept us happy! We will be back. We enjoyed the chicken alfredo & my husband had a beef & noodle dish.

Actually, this is a takeout order. So service was right on time to my car. and after I ate the food, it was good. The atmosphere was in my house, so that was Excellent too. 😁

Everything about this restaurant was impeccable!
My husband and I stopped in for dinner and were promptly seated at a table. We were left to look over the menu for a little while before our waitress arrived. She was very friendly and eager to help out in any way. We ordered the large meal with the lasagna, chicken parmesan, and alfredo as well as never ending salad and breadsticks to share. It was absolutely the perfect amount of food for the 2 of us!
We did have to wait a little while for our food, but it came to us piping hot and delicious and our waitress graciously had the meal divided onto 2 plates for us. Everything was perfect. The salad was superb, the breadsticks top-notch, the alfredo so creamy, the lasagna so flavorful...yum! I thought the chicken parmesan was a little on the salty side, but still enjoyable.
The restaurant was very clean and had a soft, romantic ambiance. The food was very good and our waitress was a sweetheart. Altogether, a 5 star restaurant.

Fast, friendly, amazing service. Some of the best food I’ve had at any Olive Garden! Our server was very attentive from ordering to packing our leftovers. Kudos to her. Clean restrooms too.

Came in with less than an hour before closing and was attended kindly and quickly. Never felt rushed, which is a nice feeling. The food was great. Really appreciated everything!!

Delicious food( eggplant parmesan and ricotta-filled ravioli with carbonara sauce), great and prompt server, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!

I have a choice to go to this one or the one in Merrillville and always choose the one in Michigan city. Better service and the food is always cooked to perfection . Highly recommend.

With jobs open at nearly every resturaunt, good service has been hard to find,but I was pleasantly surprised tonight. We were seated immediately upon walking in and not being regulars to this establishment ,our decisions did not come easy upon reviewing the menus. . Our server Lexi Muffett suggested an appetizer that was out of this world and partnered up with the salad as if they were made to go together. It was refreshing to have a server who was fun to interact with and seemed genuinely authentic. We joked about the Soup or salad, and when the salad came to the table, my significant other said ,"Now that is a Super Salad...where is hers?" She enjoyed our sense of humor, acknowledged it, and responded with a humorous quip. She was on top of filling our drinks in a timely manner without seeming overbearing. It was truly unexpected, enjoyable and refreshing! Her authenticity was one of sincerity and joy for her job despite her long hours. After the salad our entrees arrived freshly sculpted into deliciousness. The shrimp alfredo had about 20 shrimp on it and the sauce was the perfectly creamy, not runny or too thick, just perfect. The new steak parmesan smothered with mozzarella was an interesting switch from the chicken to the beef. With a side of spaghetti, the combination was more than filling as we both took enough leftovers home for another meal. I love enjoying the conversations that take place at restaurants, but really was impressed with the wonderful personality and an impressionable passion for her desire to serve others with a genuine honesty for the integrity she holds for what she does. Finding out she works at a law firm as well adds to her ethical behavior which added to our whole dinner experience. The food was great, but having a server like her, adds that special secret spice that makes the food phenomenal, and the overall experience a pleasure.
