Morning Thunder Cafe

My favorite breakfast place in McMinnville!! Food is awesome, especially the avocado toast! Staff is so friendly. Just be careful because Morning Thunder is only open a few days a week. There is another restaurant there the other days Hawaii 530 or something like that. Was not impressed with their food or staff. But definitely worth it for Morning Thunder!!

Was pretty excited to try a breakfast place in Mcminville on a Friday morning. I don’t know what was going on in this town but lots of the restaurants we tried to eat at were closed. This was our first choice as the reviews and pictures looked great. It was a little hidden and easy to miss as it’s with in the building. We were so disappointed to find the place closed. It looks like a nice place to eat so maybe we’ll give it a try another time.

This place is great, the food is exceptional and it's a cool vibe all around. Our server was super nice and she took care of everything perfectly. Can't wait to go back!

I stopped by here on a particularly hungover afternoon. I got an omelette with fried potatoes on the side and their large fruit platter. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, the plating was beautiful, and the service was excellent!

Had great avocado toast not what I'm used to tasted more like guacamole and the fruit platter (forgot to take a picture with all the had some honeydew melon and cantaloupe was perfectly ripe... yummy!!!

Great food! Nice atmosphere! The chicken fried steak was GIANT! We will go again.

Great food, treated like family. The coffee is wonderful and you just feel the love in the food. Next time we are in Oregon we will eat here.

Great food and service. Southern style breakfast, large portions of comfort food. Coffee is good and they have a decent tea selection.

This place has such a chill atmosphere, the service was quick and friendly. BEST chicken fried steak of my life. Portion sizes were out of this world. I ordered extra gravy since most places slack on that end, but I didn't even need it! Totally recommend checking this place out.

Great food, friendly service and a dope atmosphere. Lots of options for diet restricted folks. Last went here for a lazy brunch date, we ordered gluten free pancakes that were perfectly fluffy and the most impressive vegan scramble platter I've ever seen. Can't wait to go again.

This is the most cozy and comfy little place I've ever been with stellar food and amazing service! They were so accomidating to my son and even let him try the pancake hushpuppies at no charge (out of this world delicious by the way especially with their Marionberry syrup) and then made his pancakes into special shapes including a snail a sun and some flowers. The biscuits and gravy was the closest to my southern grandmothers homemade I've ever had and I'm so excited to have a little taste of home so close to home. Yet another reason to love Mcminnville and the third street small town feel! highly recommend

The atmosphere is amazing, the food spectacular and the people are awesome. My husband and I really enjoyed our meals.

This Fruit Parfait was HEAVENLY! Highly recommended. My husband had the patty melt and even that was amazing (I may have snuck a bite). But over all 10/10 with this place. Everyone was also so nice.

If you want a good breakfast this place checks all the marks. My wife and I both enjoyed our meal and the service was friendly. We ordered the 3 piece hushpuppies and were supplied with 4 since there were 2 if us. They provided large portions, neither of us were able to finish our plates but both of us wanted to.
