Me and my granddaughter came by to have a little breakfast. I had A B. L. T and fries, and she had chili cheese fries. This place was highly recommended from a friend My granddaughter said her fries were the bomb the best she's ever had. In my breakfast consist of the BLT of course was wonderful. The cook could have a thumbs up.

Great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The food comes in large portions & a great price. Everything was so tasty. We will be back when we're in the area. Take my word for it & enjoy!

They take good care of you. You get your money's worth and the food tastes great. If you like down home cooking, I highly recommend Birdies.

Birdie’s has great food, friendly service and a family atmosphere that you can enjoy breakfast/lunch with family and friends. Highly recommend! Also, it won’t break the bank and you get very good-sized portions on any meal!

We were driving through Knox on 9/16/2023 and looking for a small local restaurant to try for lunch. I'm so glad we found Birdie's. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The shinning star of this establishment was its service. They were very friendly and attentive to every need.

ITS CASH ONLY there, now that's out of the way, since the only bad reviews are people complaining about it being cash only, I will explain why it is worthy of being a 5 star establishment. We've gone here a handful of times we as in my wife and daughter, never had any issues or even a sour face ( as stated in the 1 star review) we were actually immediately greeted by a huge smile and a "good morning y'all!" We were immediately seated and drinks were taken care of promptly. The waitress was fantastic with my daughter letting her place her order herself (she's 2) and being prompt with refills and order taking. Now as for the food, absolutely hands down the best corn beef hash I have ever eaten to date, that goes for the double bacon cheeseburger as well, you won't go hungry when you dine at birdie's! Do yourself a favor, grab the family and treat yourself to a home cooked meal. Highly recommend.

Welcome to fresh Home Cooking here. Wonderful breakfasts done exactly how you like it. Sandwiches are not skimpy nor the batch of fries that come with them. Always check for daily specials. Absolutely the best gizzards and or livers. The soups are some of the best around. Enjoy!

I was told they had the best biscuits and gravy, and I have to agree! It was wonderful. The service was great. They were extremely busy and the food was delivered quickly!

Small diner in downtown Knox with great homestyle breakfast cooking. Definitely recommend for a bite to eat and suggest the biscuits and gravy.

Great food! Friendly service! And very good prices for large portions!! I had the 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs and American fries. It was delicious! These american fries are fresh, sliced potatoes grilled to perfection. Some soft, some crunchy! We'll be back!!

Had breakfast here for the first time and it was great..superior to any other place within fifty or more miles of Knox, IN

If you're looking for a local diner, this is your stop. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. This has set the bar in my mind for diners.

Super friendly staff, and outstanding food!

So happy to see them open and doing great business. We stopped in for a quick cup of coffee before an appointment. Fast service, coffee refilled without asking and easy check out. We will be back to eat soon.

Super cute place! Decorated well. Busy, because it's got good food. Pleasant atmosphere. Prices are not cheap, but not higher than anywhere else, as costs everywhere are rising. Cheerful place to eat with friends, as I did, yesterday. <3
