Downtown Depot

We had a graduation party and ran out of chicken, we called and they gave us every piece of chicken in the restaurant and stayed late to prepare it for us. Today we tried the breakfast and it was fantastic. Highly recommended and our waitress was the best! They did run out of biscuits and gravy but that just gives us a reason to go back! 3 eggs, ham, potatoes, toast and a pancake for $10. New favorite restaurant!!!!

The Downtown Depot has relocated to Hamlet. Great food and friendly staff! This was our first time in. We will be back!

I had the best bacon cheeseburger on earth here yesterday!

Fantastic. Server was great. Drinks never ran low. Very important to me. Food was delicious. Came out fast and hot. Love the momma poppa feel & neat train atmosphere. Great job guys! Ceiling Tiles inside are do to be replaced and some fininshing touches of paint outside would be my only criticism but everything else made up for it. Still 5 star service & food. We will be back.

This was our first time here and we were very pleased. Service was excellent and the food was great. The other customers are very friendly too, since seating is kinda close it helps. By the name you can tell it's a railroad setting and nicely done. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

I was a resident of Knox Indiana when I discovered Downtown Depot. It was the first place in Knox, where I did not have to wait or ask for a fill up on my coffee. So service is awesome. Then the food is great too, very delicious and good size portions. Well worth the money, and the atmosphere is very friendly and family feel. I highly recommend Downtown Depot for a great meal and excellent service. The Best in Knox Indiana!!!

We recently found this restaurant and were very impressed. The food is very good, prices are excellent and service is better than many places. We've been there twice and have had both breakfast and lunch food. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone.

-2. Your plates actually have something on them! Yes! You will get your money's worth!

-3. Rob and his Staff treat me and Everyone that comes through his doors like family. Where can you go nowadays to get service like that?

Came in here for lunch on my self care day, friendly waitress, gave me great options when asking about menu, food was absolutely amazing. Had the Philly cheese wrap and for a second forgot I'm in Indiana and not PA. A must try.

Looking for a great, delicious, tasty, delectable, palate pleasing breakfast and or the other 2 designated meals during the day? Look no further. Obviously, the local folk know about the Depot and keep it from visitors like me and my wife. Not cool! Well, to bad; we found out about the Downtown Depot eatery.
Breakfast is serious business to me and my wife. We wake up late and require a good breakfast the way we want it. Also, a cup of coffee and coke. Downtown Depot has the coffee but not the coke. Oh well, can have it all.
However, the food is great. We had the Santa Fe skillet. A tasty dish with plenty of food enough for both of us. We ordered a couple of sandwiches for later and the verdict is held until consumption.
Don't wait! We met Rob, the owner. He greeted us with a smile and made sure everything was to our liking. Thanks for a great experience.

Wonderful Railroad themed Restaurant off the main drag ( Hwy 35) in wonderful Knox, Indiana. Reminds me of the "Small family style" eatery from the 60's, 70's...but don't let that fool you! Generous portions at reasonable prices! If there for lunch or dinner, get the fresh fried chips!!! The owner Rob makes sure to do his rounds between cooking ..The waitress Marie is an extra added joy!!! Go there! You won't be disappointed!

Food is great.. we love this place. People who work there are always so sweet. Best food and bang for your buck around..

Best damn breakfast around! Pancakes as light as a feather, great bacon/sausage, and eggs cooked as YOU like them. Waitresses there to bring your coffee as soon as you sit down, and take your order in a very good time. When I'm in town, this is where I eat! DON'T CHANGE A THING!!

Excellent food. We had a gathering of people who had worked on a project together. It was a good sized group. Our waitress did a great job. We will be back!

Great food, small town atmosphere, excellent staff! I had the train wreck skillet and another time i had the BLT wrap! Both were perfect.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I had a burger that is the best I've had in the state! Great service! When In Knox again I'll be at the Depot! Wish they had one in central part of the state! If you're ever in Knox, stop by the Depot. You'll love it!

The Depot is a small town gem. I love coming here every time I come into town. Good food, family ran and with the recent addition of a gorgeous bar. There's no saying how far this place will go.

Rob (the owner) and his crew always friendly in this little country diner. Biscuits and gravy are a must have every time I'm in town.

My absolutely favorite place to eat. The food is by far in the top 3 of stark county.. Service and people are always wonderful.. Keep up the good work and wonderful food Rob..

Service was very good and the hamburger's were great, very large and hand made. Everything was fresh and the restaurant was very clean we will go back there.
