If you are looking for an exceptional restaurant, I assure you... look no more. The prices are very reasonable, the food is absolutely delicious, and the view is, exactly as the name portrays.... Scenic! While you're enjoying the view, order a bloody Mary that was voted to be the best in Bloomington, Indiana. ☆☆☆☆☆

I messaged scenic view on Facebook to confirm that I could make a reservation for our party of five today. The general manager Jessica was great and even asked if we needed a highchair for our little one. Our friends and I enjoyed a beautiful 65° morning overlooking lake Monroe. The service was on point and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks for a great morning!

First time here and I was very surprised all around. At first I thought it was a bit pricy until we got the food! The food was amazing! I have to say I had never tried a tempura tenderloin before and now I won't hesitate to order that again! Their fries are sooo good! Hot and crispy, and everyone got freshly cooked food.

This is a hidden in plain sight gem! Right off the highway but you don't want to miss it. Great food, friendly service and a pretty view! Oh they make a delicious Bloody Mary.

If you are considering dining here, DO IT! We had driven past the Scenic View Restaurant at least a dozen times, each time saying ‘we should stop’. We finally did and WHY DID WE WAIT SO LONG!? The food was delicious! The wait staff was fantastic. We plan to go again during various seasons to see the beautiful view! You should stop and enjoy!

We ordered Scenic View delivery the other day and it was the best we've probably had delivered. We liked it so much we actually ordered a large order of biscuits and gravy the next week to take with us out of town. They worked with us to make sure we had the best experience when we got to our destination. It was super easy and delicious. 10/10 would do again.

Wonderful experience at Scenic View Restaurant. The food was of excellent quality, courteous staff, quick service, and the surrounding was beautiful.

The tempura pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious. The Benedict burger (Angus beef patty, ham, mushrooms, and egg on an English muffin with Hollandaise) was also delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They source ingredients locally when possible.

It's a homey spot; the atmosphere was very casual. The view of the lake from the patio was very pretty. The service was outstanding. All these things combined to make for a very enjoyable dining experience.

Sunday Brunch - great food - long wait but the view was worth it. Make a reservation- we didn’t!

I have been to this place twice now. It is a really neat restaurant on top of a hill with a great view of a prob of Monroe lake. The food definitely had a spin on it with things like crab Benedict. And they have a great liquor selection.

This is a casual place. They had a brunch special two high quality mimosas for $10. This is a surprisingly nice place given that it is next to a campground. It is particularly beautiful in fall.

The food was very good here. The service was also excellent. We sat outside and the views are very nice for a meal.

Awesome view, great food, pictured are the chicken nachos, I had the view burger it was great. Try the bacon bloody Mary!

As always a wonderful experience! The food is delicious and the scenery is to die for! We hope to see extended hours soon! We would eat there everyday if we could!

It opened yesterday and we visited the restaurant today around noon. It is a dog friendly restaurant. Servers are nice and friendly to both customers and dogs. The view is fantastic. I love their egg menu. The price is reasonable compared with the ones in downtown.

I absolutely love this place!!! The overview of the lake in fall is one of the best spots at lake Monroe!!! Our server Jason was amazing and such good service. Something wasn’t correct with a part of our order and Jessica went above and beyond to make it even better! Just a FYI the small problem wasn’t even a actual problem for us but their attention and attitude to customer service was very impressive. Plus the dinner menu food was even better then the great Sunday brunch food that I’ve have a few times. I recommend this to anyone traveling through this area.
