If you can relate to it. I would summarise that there is a difference between old money and new money. This place feels old but reeks of class. We were upgraded to the Presidential Cottage and felt really classy. Location and frontage on the River Nile is just plain awesome. Food is good. Service is impeccable. The decor feels right out of a Wilbur Smith novel with leather sofas, animal skin / print chairs, crocodile skin design tables etc.. animal trophies would not look out of place here. Hot showers, hippos grazing on the grounds at night, elephants bathing in a sheltered area of the Nile in plain view. All in all great experience.

Beautiful hotel in every way! And where it is located by the gorgeous White Nile. The dinner was to die for. Not sure how many safari’s there are around, but the one we took was nearly 2 hrs. away. So if that is the closest one then you may struggle with a lot of driving. Saw an Elephant, giraffe, warthogs and hippos within 45 minutes of arriving!

Great view, great service, great food. You get clean rooms with brilliant view of the Nile, hippos and warthogs grazing, swimming pools, campfire and all this with a caring and courteous staff. Never felt the need for anything. Perfect place to relax after a safari.

Fantastic spot for a stay or great just to visit for lunch and a drive or tour through the wildlife park. Incredible views of the Nile. Excellent food and service. If you make lunch or park reservations be sure to bring your reservation number.

It was breathe taking. The scenery was calming. The hotel is extremely clean. The coexistence with nature was beautiful, watching the wild pigs enjoy the same space as humans, the giraffes right at the nose of the hotel, the beautiful monkeys black and white with long tails, the numerous bird species, the hippos sound in the evening. The game drive was worth it. The food was amazing,from breakfast to dinner and not forgetting the top notch customer service. For special mention,even the health of the customer is paramount. Chobe got me a nurse at night to administer medication at their cost. Something I didn't expect. The staff is very friendly. They handled children very well. That children Christmas gifting and Santa, and 24th December activities for the children was very very wise of the hotel. The entire design of the safari lodge is breathtaking. But above all the experience was epic. Looking for a place to relax in would recommend Chobe safari lodge. Thank you Chobe for the best Christmas experience 2022. My daughter has had a memorable epic christmas. Looking forward to more experiences in the future. Sheilah D.

Once place where you can walk into the footsteps of the greatest men and women of the day; awake to the chatters of monkeys, have a cup of coffee, sip at a cocktail by the swimming pool and end your day to the groans of hippos.....it's an amazing wild experience 👌❤

Chobe Safari Lodge is really strategically positioned along River Nile which gives it cool air.

It is a good place for both families 👨‍👩‍👦and singles👨‍👧.

It has best swimming pools🏊, gym 🏋, sauna💇 and other enjoyable games 🤽🚴.

It also has nice looking rooms for guests 🛌🤰

Exceeded my expectations to be honest. Loved the setup. Your experience starts from the main entrance , as you have about 10 km of a drive to see wild animals like warthogs, giraffes, monkeys/baboons, fowls etc. The view of the Nile from the dining area and from the grounds is amazing. Rooms are super.

A true getaway, so don't expect a TV and internet in your room.

Was a great place for facilitating a workshop with expansive grounds to set up activities and an open conference room to seat 50 participants comfortably. The luxuries of the lodge itself enabled us to relax in the midst of engaging with work. 100% would reccomend.

Awe inspiring view of the Nile Rapids, with possible siting of both aquatic and on land wildlife in Murchison Falls National Park. A photo at the pool side overlooking the Nile blends as if one is literally in the river. A plentiful of rooms and quick kitchen service. The cost though is a little over the average!

Although Its priced and over rated.
You have to pay on the park gate as a surprise, the entry fees are higher. So. Be careful. But I still couldn't stop myself to give it 5 stars. It deserves. The staff is very polite.

What an incredible place! Located on the nile. Rooms and dining with views of the nile and wildlife. Giraffes, hippos, monkeys, and much more! The staff was incredible! The food was great!

The views at this lodge are incredible. The service is great. There are swimming pools over looking the Nile. At night you can see hipoes grazing while you dine on the terrace. The only downside is it's a 2hour drive from the game drive area. So it's perfect for relaxing or honeymoon.

These guys are awesome. When you come to this place, ask for tent 206, it's near the rapids on the Nile. This tent is heavenly. I recommend the hotel highly. Their customer service is impeccable. It's also great that once in a while you get to see a wild animal in the compound, minding its own business

We couldn't have chosen a better place place to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary...am not sure what words to use honestly,it exceeded our expectations,thank you Edwin(manager)for going over and above to ensure we had an experience we would never forget,Gorge,you're so present to every client,we felt welcome and celebrated,the chef,you made our stay even more magical,here trying to copy some of the recipes(i could just come back to have your food)and i definitely can't put to words how gorgeous Chobe is...we will definitely come back with our children...i don't normally post but i had to,it wouldn't be fair if i didn't thank you guys for the experience we had,i don't mind celebrating our 10th anniversary there...thank you thank you very much for making this year memorable for us.

High Quality place in a very quite and beautiful environment. A breath of fresh air and cool breezes from Nile River. Beautiful sounds of birds and hippopotamuses can heard from a far. Highly recommended for stress free relaxation.

One of my first places to spend a weekend outside Kampala. Amazing hotel, great for vacations, and a go to National Park in Uganda. Good customer service, topped up with an enjoyable drive through the Park to get to the hotel. 5* rating.. 👌👌
