Pakuba Safari lodge

+ Rooms were spacious, clean, and had great amenities such as air conditioning. However, some areas of the room blocks did not have WiFi connection available.

+ Brilliant staff service, all were very helpful and attentive
+ Restaurant supplied great meals in the form of a buffet
+ Strong WiFi in the restaurant and reception
+ Many places in the hotel area to relax- plenty of seating
+ Scenic views are offered from all over the resort, with animals grazing very close by

All the staff are so friendly and helpful at Pakumba. They will always be prepared to assist you.

I am very happy to have met Rodgers, Mark Junior, Ezra and the others. They put on a great birthday celebration too, and thoroughly enjoy getting everyone together.

The views at the lodge are stunning, and the patio with swinging chairs was one my favourite spots. There are Jackson antelopes that visit regularly and it’s location is directly adjacent to Murchison National Park. You are highly likely to see many animals on your journey in, and on your way out.

The rooms are very clean and the hard mattress was perfect for my preference. There are mosquito nets above the double four poster bed frame. The bathroom is a good size and the walk in shower has good water pressure too. They offer a refillable water filter, which is a very useful addition for your stay.

I would definitely stay here again, and hope to be a regular visitor. Wishing all the staff the very best 🙏🏻

The staff is great, the food is sumptuous, the rooms are clean and all their amenities work. It's indeed a gem in the wild! 👏 👏. If I could, I would stay there for like a month! And oh! Did I mention that it is affordable! Yes it is!

Pakuba Safari lodge was literally a place of dream! You will watch the most beautiful sunsets with the view of lake Albert Nile.
Very lovely place and highly recommend, the crew were amazing and friendly.
The food was good but for buffet could be better to add more options, otherwise the everything was perfect and definitely coming back again!

Pakuba Safari Lodge is an excellent lodge in the heart of Murchison falls NP, facing Albert Nile. It's also in a great location for game drives and other activities in park. The air-conditioned rooms are spacious and comfortable, with en suite bathrooms. The main building, some of the rooms, restaurant, bar, and pool have a beautiful view of the river. Wifi is in the rooms and most parts of the property.

Pakuba Safari Lodge is perfectly located in the Safari area, with a magical view of river Nile. The staff is extremely polite and welcoming, always available to answer our questions and help with everything that came up during our stay. All in all we had a great stay and we totally recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Murchison Falls national park 😊

Pakuba Safari lodge is the perfect place to enjoy Murchison Falls. You can start and end the game drive at any time from the lodge, the views are stunning and the animals are literaly at your doorstep!

A great lodge inside Murchison Falls NP. The luxury room was nice equipped with AC because it can be humid in that place. Power outlets were hidden behind beds so it was difficult to plug our chargers. Staff was friendly, some didn’t smile but it is ok. Water bucks in front of our room were so rewarding. They need to improve on buffet, have more choices for vegetarians, have fresh juices and use less plastic bottles because we have to preserve nature, Overall we had great experience.

We loved Pakuba! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. They accommodated to our food needs with a smile. The pool is perfect for kids and overlooks the Albert Nile. We saw warthogs, baboons, storks and antelope on the premises during our short stay. It is also a great location for game drives and they had guides available to take us. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Lodges in the game parks are generally expensive, but Pakuba can really accommodate an average with great pricing. I have been to the lodge twice already, I have slept in rooms on both wings. The rooms are excellent, brilliant atmosphere. The lodge in along the Albert Nile so it gives you the view of the water and when the sun is setting it’s perfect and brilliant sight. There’s a swimming pool so you can swim. I don’t swim so I just admire those swimming 😂😂😂😂. The food is continental and buffet. I am a foodie and always eager to try out new stuff. So I find the food really excellent. Animals in the night come to the lodge to protect from the predators, but they are not really harmful, but there’s also security to escort you wherever you want to go. There’s Wi-Fi but it’s restricted to only the main area. There’s also a souvenir shop so you can buy all your items.

We had a great time. There was some construction going on but it was not too much of a distraction. Food was good. Service was good (especially appreciated Barnabas as he greeted us right away and checked on us regularly). Wifi was not great.

Nice lodge in Murchison Falls, very friendly staff that made our stay feel personal and familiar. I'm normally not a buffet person, but there buffet's food quality and freshness was better than expected. The staff, as seen throughout Uganda, were extremely welcoming. They made the effort to know our names and greeted us everytime.

We had the most magic time at this lodge.The staff were incredibly friendly and always there to assist in any situation. The rooms were spotlessly clean ,roomy and comfortable. Our meals were delicious with fresh local produce.
The safari was excellent with a very experienced and knowledgeable tour guide.We would highly recommend staying at this lodge and look forward to returning in the near future.

Nice room, food was really good (Buffet)! Lodge is within the park what ist superb for the gamedrives.

We spent 3 night at this lodge. Very pleasant experience. Rooms are very clean. We had electricity every night from 6:30 Pm to 7:30 Am which was good for charging the phones. During the day, internet and electricity is available at lobby
There was hot water available for shower all the time.
The staff were super friendly and caring. They treat you like their own family. They try to know all guests and their needs and do their best to accommodate for those needs.
2 times our safari took longer that expected and they kept food warm after the serving time just for us which was very nice. The location of this lodge is very nice and unique. It has nice outside fire pit that you can enjoy. The pool has Nile river view. Overall it exceeded our expectations and we had super fun time there. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place to stay, very clean, had a swimming pool to cool off in. Tons of cute little lizards all around, lots of wildlife and literally you're right there for the game drives. buffet style meals, which was nice to manage your own portions. Has wifi in reception area, rooms have AC. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do more to please you. Would absolutely return.

Stayed at Pakuba Lodge in February of 2023 when my daughter and her husband visited me from the US. We loved our time and stay at Pakuba Lodge. The lodge exeeds most midrange lodges in the Murchison Falls Park area. The good, service, rooms with ac are all excellent. Wildlife can be seen while staying at the lodge and you are in the heart of the game drive areas of the park. I highly recommend staying at Pakuba Lodge...

No words to explain the beauty of the place. Right in the middle of the national park. Elephants came to our door step with their little ones. Other common animals find refuge around the place we stayed as well.
Really good food, committed service - Godfrey was such a caring person.
Nice and clean swim pool and ambience in the evening is unforgettable!
