Gatatu Safaris.

Having just experienced what i call the greatest safari in Uganda's tourist hubs, i wont forget the memories of my trip with Gatatu. While in Kenya, i enjoyed the trips but when i reached Uganda, it was just excellent having booked with whom i call the most trusted Gatatu Safaris Director. He handed me over with the most experienced tour guides to offered me great discoveries. This safari far exceeded my expectations. It was great to see first hand, a leader in the world of conservation efforts. We saw it! Elephants, giraffes, Chimpanzees, lions. I highly recommends Gatatu Safaris to everyone.

We had a very nice experience in Uganda on Chimpanzee and gorilla tracking in both Kibale National park and Bwindi impenetrable National park in Uganda, Thanks to Gatatu safaris team and Richard for organizing a lifetime experience. Highly recommended to travel with Gatatu safaris.

A good Safari Company with excellent drivers can organise Gorilla watching and other Safaris in Uganda and Rwanda, they can pick you up at Kigali Airport which is more convenient for Southern Uganda than Entebbe.

Gatatu safaris is a reliable company which gives back to the community through helping the less fortunate children to have basic needs like Education, Food and this is real because they own a primary school for both girls and boy.

Warning, do not book with Gatatu. Was speaking back and forth with Richard for a couple months planning a gorilla safari. We wire transferred a large amount of money for gorilla permits and a tour only to find out they were never purchased, our accommodations were never booked, we were never picked up for a tour. They went above and beyond to even issue copies of fake permits that we later confirmed were fake with UWA. Gatatu completely cut off all communication with us after they received our money and and needless to say, we travelled all the way to africa from canada for a tour, received no tour, and are out all of our money because they ignore you & will not own up to anything they have done. We still never got our money back. Shame on them, please book with an alternative company.

Fair warning - Had a friend ripped off by this guy for $2000 - Lots of others have been scammed as well. Do your research, find a reputable company.

Edit : You are correct, they never got to travel with you, they just paid the money for it. - and YES all documentation proving payment can and has been provided.

Richard is a scam artist. He has scammed me and quite a few others with fake trekking permits. Do not trust this man or his fake positive review. He has been arrested for his scams but was released on bail with payment from his father. If you have questions, reach out, because I can back it all up.

Gatatu has stolen my money and will not return it, they are a scam!!
