Arcadia Lodges Lake Bunyonyi

Wonderful place to stay if you want to relax and chill! Their staff members are all amazing from reception where we were greeted and showed the rooms before booking, to the guards and compoud staff and mostly, our waiter (Isaac), who was very polite and knowledgeable. He was also our guide on the boat ride. The food was great, and they were able to accommodate some of our more picky eaters with different options. Really, we had a great time. Oh! And the views!!! The views are to die for!

One of the best lodges I’ve stayed during my 7 days visit to Uganda. The view over Bunyonyi lake is incredible. The food was delicious. I had the pepper steak and it was perfectly cooked. The way I asked it. But most importantly, the staff was polite and attentive. Too bad I stayed only for one night. But now I know where to stay on my next visit to Uganda. Thank you.

Loved every single bit about this place, from their beautiful panoramic views of L.Bunyoyi as seen from the balconies to their 5-star services. This is paradise for all travel enthusiasts.

Best location on our trip. The lodge is well designed with rooms overlooking the lake. Fantastic service and tasty food. They had a chef from SA.

If you go to bunyonyi definitely you should stay there, it has an amazing view, people who stays other lodges comes to the hotel to see the view, but you have the privilege to have the view all the time . Rooms are extremely clean and nice. And since you are there you can visit Eden preparatory school is 5min by walk.. food is ok not special but the whole lodge is great.

The best views I have ever had. That alone makes this place magical. For the rest quite standard luxuous lodge where everything is perfect including service, but maybe a bit sanitised if what you look for is genuine African vibe.

Stayed here when we were going gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Amazing cottages and food with a great view! The manager is also very friendly and helpful, hope to be back some day.

The peace one can ask for is here. Top notch services, and the Dawa tea! Good Lord. It was to die for!

The most magnificent lodge/resorts in Bunyonyi Kabale district with the most beautiful view of lake Bunyonyi, an epic view of all the islands on the lake, cool breeze, great customer care, beautiful rooms and cottages, very clean environment and well kept compound, assorted choices on the menu great people and beautiful view of Mountain Muhavura bordering Uganda, Congo and Rwanda.

The main thing that stood out was the incredible service and helpfulness of everyone here. We had a problem with our car and driver, and the manager Kai went above and beyond (including various phone calls, as well as staying later than his hours and arriving earlier) to help us find a solution. He saved our trip!

Beyond him, the staff at the front desk (Susan) and in the restaurant (Barbara) were also excellent and made our stay a very pleasant one.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and have awesome views, and the place is stunning.

It is set at a best place above Bunyonyi lake. The views of the lake and it's island are breathtaking. Can't get enough of them
We stayed at the new quarter, the runw were HUGE. There us a large living room with soffa and thw armchairs, abd a bedroom with big comfoy bed. The bathroom is very spacious and good current. Every room has a very large balcony views the lake and somehow it is also very private.
They have a coffee machine that makes a real espresso, which is uncommon in Uganda.
Thr food in the restaurant is OK.but a bit repetitive id one stays for more then a nite. The meat was good the pizza
unfortunately not good at all , breakfast was disappointing.
The stuff are very nice and makes you feel really welcome.

Enjoyed every bit of this places. Perfect and stunning views of Lake Bunyonyi.
You get to wake up in the morning to the best views and go to bed with earth literally smiling at you. It's an amazing place. The accommodation is great for both family and individual travellers and the food is great 👍

This place has spectacular views of Lake Bunyoni. The lodge we stay in itself was also stunning. The best water pressure we had in Uganda lol. Wifi throughout the resort, very clean rooms. Restaurant was super nice with a great patio. Workers were lovely, food was good as well. Would return

Beautiful view and very nice coffee. The food prices are a bit higher than average, but the place is clearly targeted for high end, and still affordable in European standards.

I've been to Arcadia Lodges a few times over the past 5 years and watched it improve and become more and more beautiful over time. The view of Lake Bunyonyi from here is absolutely stunning and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. All I can hear as I'm writing this review are birds chirping near and far. The food has improved over time too and the staff are welcoming and efficient. Next time I'll come for the weekend and not just lunch on my way to the border!
