Naturally pure and heavily fascinating scenery. There is a collection of routes when you enter inside that you won't miss to see.
The cave is huge and deep inside. There are also mysteries surrounding some routes when others are even forbidden to seek due to earlier historical horrific events that happened

It was actually better than expected. I thought the caves would be much smaller but it is quite a journey to go around. Nice guides also to show you interesting formations and a bit of the history. I higbly recommend a pit-stop here if you're around Tanga.

One of the most extensive limestone caves in East Africa.

The caves were formed about 150 million years ago during the Jurassic age.

Its a very attractive, marvelous and amazing place to visit in Tanga. The caves have different natural shaped structures inside that represents many things in real life.

Environment is very calm and quiet. Its very use to student who learn geography courses to learn more and get some scenic views about limestone rocks.

Price ia very standard and affordable.
Visit today, Enjoy!

Among of the experience you would want to enjoy, ask the guide to turn off the lights!

The darkest moments and silence, best experience ever!

Huge cave system just outside Tanga. You get a guide who will tell you about the caves, some myths and point out structures that resemble animals, people or sex positions, quite entertaining. There are bats in part if the cave, but except for the smell, they won't bother you. It's quite huge and many different tunnels, some barely passable, some with 7 m up to the ceiling.

OMG I am a cave lover. It was huge and historically amazing. Tour guy was great about explaining everything. Only 20 mins out of Tanga you can easily get a bajaji there and he a tour guide when you arrive.

It’s beautiful place from outside and as any other cave from the inside. Normally there is a gate way before the caves where you have to pay but as we went there was no-one, only if you want to get in to the caves

Is one of the best place to visit while in Tanga, is a natural cave that formed by the ocean in tue lime stone, best place to learn about limestone features, you can visit alone of with group as always open and tour guides available.

I loved it... It seems this place was under water during the Jurassic world.. water effect caused erosion which led to these caves exposed after millions of years later...It's all in Tanzania ..
