Kendwa Beach Resort

Tropical heaven. The hotel services are great - clean room, fresh towels daily and great cleaning. We used the laundry service as well with no complaints. The beach is huge with lots of sun beds. For the food it is tasty but slo - its not slow for the destination, yet in 2 other restaurants nearby the food was under 30 minutes from order to service. The security is tide around the complex and the merchants never come within the sun bed areas. The tide is very shy on this beach with about 10 meters in and out. Go for the luxury rooms not the economy ones but do not pay for see view - there isn’t one. The complex is so full of vegetation it’s heaven, yet not possible to see the sea.

The WiFi is reliable near the hotel and the restaurant / bar area.

We didn’t stay at the resort but we enjoyed half day chilling at the restaurant with amazing view of the beach.
F&B very good & service was excellent thanks to Dexon, Aisha, Diana & Ashur for the hospitality & also the F&B manager for welcoming us every time we visit.

Hygiene is impeccable, the cleaning ladies are very pleasant and have an eye for detail.
The restaurant is excellent and the service is impeccable.
The hotel reception service is perfect day and night. They answer at all hours and are very attentive. We were two girlfriends and we felt safe and well so much so that we chose to extend our stay in this hotel.
I would like to point out that my friend left her precious jewels at the hotel and they sent them back to us in France. I highly recommend this hotel and I see great human qualities there.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful garden. The staff is very helpful, always try to provide a nice service. The gym is small but has some equipment to train. Breakfast is good. The restaurant is located on the beach and has a lot of tasty food from Asian, Indian and Swahili cuisines. The beach is very big and you can swim even during the low tide.

This hotel is amazing! The staff is nice, the resort, the pool and the beach are also beautiful. We tried a massage, it was very relaxing. The rooms are clean and the have nice view. Wifi works well. The gym is small, but okay for some workout. We had one dinner at Essence restaurant, the food was delicious.
The only thing I could mention is that they use many plastic bottles. It could be reduced by using glass.

We would go back any time to Kendwa Beach Resort.

One of the best hotel I found in all Zanzibar, the quality of service deserve more than 5 stars !
I would like to say thanks particularly to Mr Matthew and Mister Malay, for being very kind during all our stay.
I wish I could stay more in this wonderful place.

I spent my time in Zanzibar moving along the coast staying at a number of different hotels & resorts, and Kendwa beach resort is by far the best one I came across!

Very comfortable rooms, friendly & helpful staff, clean beach, great restaurants, not many beach hawkers, and the sunset view at the beach is gorgeous!

The only con I can think of is that the beach and pool are at quite a bt of a walk from most rooms, but it wasn't too much of a problem.

Breathtaking and beautiful place with its private clean beach with white sands and blue clean ocean. The staffs were friendly and professional. The room and food were amazing …

Beautiful place to be, beautiful views

After have being disappointed by our first hotel in Kendwa Beach. We got in a taxi and we told our driver about how the first hotel was so bad. He then suggested we check out Kendwa Beach Resort ( Formally known as Eden Village Kendwa). From the moment we arrived at the property everything was well taken care of. From the staff, the rooms to the amazing gardens. We stayed at the resort for 5 nights and it was amazing.

To the person reading this and thinking should I give them a try. You should definitely give Kendwa Beach Resort a try they won’t let you down yet they will make your stay unforgettable.

FYI: Essence Restaurant located inside the resort. The food there is amazing.

It's worth checking out when you are in Zanzibar. The rooms are nice, clean spacious with beautiful balconies. They have a beautiful swimming pool, gym, spa.

Spent 5 nights for our honeymoon was given a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite.

The service was amazing always there to give us a hand on what ever we needed.

One of the best hotels on Kendwa beach. Would definitely recommend to any one. The staff are always there to help and the rooms are amazing better than most hotel rooms around kendwa. If you are going to stay at kendwa beach make sure to stay at Kendwa Beach Resort you won’t regret it believe me.
